I have had this leftside lower pain for almost 20 years and have had every test in the book I'm male and 60 and general good health I take ultram everyday along with gamapentin not sure the spelling because I don't have the bottle with me. The pain had cost me my marriage, my job, my friends, I have money, no life, the pain gets so bad that I want to take a knife and cut it out. The doctors look at me and have no idea what it is. Only it's nerve related I'm to the point that I my just get a gun and finish it, not sure how yet but starting to plan and tell family members good by
Good luck with I hope you can get relief.

I often experience extreme pain on right side of my belly, that I can't not walk when I got it. It lasts about half an hour. I find out that this is caused by milk. I probably have lactose intollerance, perhaps milk allergy too.

Cut out fibre like bran, cereals, bread, anything with bits in! No chillie, spice, caffine, coconut, anything that has a laxative effect. Even excessive amounts of chewing gum! Do that for 1 week and you should see a difference. If not keep cutting out common allergen foods like dairy to find out what is bad for you. For me Brown bread, bran cerials, raw oats, yeasty things and coffe are triggers. Unlevened white bread like pizza base is fine I guess due to no yeast and very little fibre. Too much baked beens, sweetcorn, cabbage, pees etc is also bad so I have to have small amounts 'diluted' by other food in my meal. I don't have constipation at all as I still eat these fiber foods just not all at once in large quantities.

I am a vegan and have no problem with stomach pains any more since giving up the dairy too ... any slight hint of wind after eating disperses after a liquorice capsule or natural liquorice bar BUT tonight ... 24 hours after eating a cheese free dominoes pizza for the first time in 2 years, I am in absolute agony with almost unbearable pain in my intestines.
proves a point about junk food and I will never eat it again.

So glad I found this message through google search! I have been having such wind pains for quite awhile, and it happens usually when I'm on my period, though not all the time. Im 40 this year by the way... will ask my doc for some buscopan. Thanks so much!
