I also have just had a bad experience with Tramadol 100mg. I was prescibred it yesterday for pain relief for my shoulder thats waiting to have sugery
I took 1 at 4pm yesterday which soon after put me to sleep. It did relieve the pain. First time in weeks i had a goid night sleep with my bad shoulder. 5am this morning i had the second dose of 1 x 100mg tablet. Within the hour i was extremly dizzy, faint, nausious, sleepy. It was as though it wss an overdose. Althought it was 13 hours since my last one. I found soon after i couldnt get oyt of bed. As i was to dizzy numb legs. I slept for the next 12 hours. Waking up breifly during my sleep so dizzy i couldnt lift my head off the pillow. Its now 9pm and its just starting to wear off.
I wont be taking it anymore. Too strong. Br careful if you have it.

I thought I was the only one that got so sick from taking Tramadol. Never been so sick in my life. I laid down on the bathroom floor ready to vomit every 5 mins. Never again, I'll just take baby aspirin.

Bad reaction to Tramadol - took 2 50 mg pills at 12 noon, then 1 at 5 p.m. and was violently ill by 7:30 p.m., threw up all night until 4 a.m. I have severe hip pain and am getting it replaced soon. I don't drink alcohol, and don't take any other medications. Anyone take other medications to relieve pain that have had an adverse reaction to Tramadol?

I'm glad for your benefit from this medicine, but, as I type this, I just became the 4th person out of 4 people I know who have taken this who have gotten the shakes and ended up vomiting. Also, for three of us, it never took away the pain. I'm now up for 22 hours straight, still in the pain I took the medicine for, dizzy, and puking my guts out every time I stand up to go get a little more water.

I am VERY sick with a disease called behcet's, my left knee is swelled up to the size of a softball, my intestines are always in burning pain like they're full of woodchips, and I get horrible headaches and eye inflammations in my pupils and sclera. I also have tons of giant ULCERS ON MY BALLSACK. Not to mention I could have sores in my intestines, eyes, lungs or brain. I CAN'T EVEN TAKE A BATH WITHOUT GOING THROUGH ALL HOLY HELL OF PAIN AND BACK FOR HOURS (drying them takes hours and hurts like level 9-10 pain, I can barely f*****g eat because I have horrible pain in my stomach and intestines. And you know what? I can't even eat salt or sugar or any perservatives, so my diet is restricted to tea and raw vegetables and I'M STILL IN PAIN CONSTANTLY. And you are going to say I shouldn't be allowed pain meds if I get nausea? I can't even f*****g take aspirin because it's a f*****g NSAID and could cause bowel perforation if I have sores, maybe don't assume so much? I have a sensitive stomach no doubt, but the amount of vomitting, cold sweating ,shakes, nausea I get from these shitty pills could f*****g KILL since I barely eat as it is.

I'll ask my doctor for something else that doesn't cause as much nausea, and she'll probably give me another opioid/opiate because she actually cares about me and knows how much pain i'm in. Meanwhile you can sit there and continue being an ignoramus.

I'd give you a couple pictures of the sores in question, but they're only about half my pain and honestly I don't want to traumatize you with gore (even though I have to face it on a never-ending basis)

I was given a prescription for tramadol 50 mg after knee replacement surgery to help control pain when going to physical therapy. The first pain mediation immediately after surgery and for a month after was codine, but my dr. could not continue prescribing it. At any rate, for the first few days, the tramadol seemed to be working with no problem. However, I then began experiencing severe nausea and diarrhea. Having never had such a reaction to medication, I assumed it was because I had a "bug." But, then one evening after taking the tramadol, I experienced extreme agitation and jittery symptoms. I could not keep from shaking my hands, legs, and feet. I felt like I was going to have a convulsion and thought I would end up in the hospital emergency. The extreme symptoms lasted several hours -- such a horrible experience I would never want to go through again. The only thing I could think of doing was drink plenty of water to flush out the med. The next day I still was shaky and felt "up tight." Although this pain medication may be okay for some, I now realize it's important to always read to information that comes with a new prescription to understand the possible adverse reactions.

some months ago i was given tramadol when i had some moderate low back pain. i would tend to take 1 50 mg tab a day-seemed to work, did not notice side effects. went on vacation with my family this week and strained my back at the beach. i noticed i still had some tramadol 50 mg in my travel bag so took one at 6 am, 1 at 1230 pm then 2 at 430 prior to going out to dinner. bad plan. we arrived at a restaurant an hour later . i felt very hot but it was hot outside. we were having a conversation and evidently i began to lose words then stopped communicating completely -then i began to twitch, flap my arms around and convulsed. my family called 911-next thing i knew about 15 minutes from the onset i looked down to see my eldest son holding me in my chair and had no clue whatsoever what had happened. i looked around the table and all my kids were clearly petrified.i was pouring sweat-the paramedics were there -my blood sugar was 40 and i have absolutely no issues with it- i was given some glucose syrup then stayed at the restaurant to have something to eat-- then went to the ER at the urging of my family just in case. everything appeared normal and all these symptoms were attributed to the tramadol. it was terrifying as we are on vacation- only by luck were my much older son and his wife along on the trip-otherwise it would have been my 14 and 17 yr old sons on their own-- my family thought i was having a stroke.i received 1000 cc of saline in the er and have been drinking fluids like a fish to flush this stuff thru my system. i would never take tramadol again.i won't even drive for the next few days or undertake anything potentially hazardous on the off chance the tramadol is still circulating-

I took my first pill last night at 8, wasn't working 3 hours later so I took another 1)2 w 2 advil.
Woke up with same pain, migraine headache and vomiting. Took zoloft for vomiting. Still have nausea, headache, overall feeling of sh--. It's now 6pm, still in my system. Will never take again. They do consider it to have opiate symptoms. Glad I didn't work today, I have a CDL and told them that. I can't get off the couch.

Been here. Took 100 mg before I went to sleep and when I woke up I felt so nauseated I almost passed out. It was like riding a bad rollercoaster you couldn't get off of. Upon standing my legs began trembling and I had to sit down. Just as you said, dripping cold sweat from everywhere. It was crazy.

I am sensitive to pain meds. They make me sick. I've had severe pain bc of a tooth and the dentist prescribed me tramadol. I'll never take it again. Shaking, extreme vomiting and dizziness, I've been doing this for about two hours or three hours now. I hope it stops soon :(
