This is true because I had the same symptomes but I just couldnt hear anything from my right ear. To worsen the situation, it was a few minutes later and Im in a totally different country. Which means I had to one to call if to get help. So I quickly sat down at a small cafe and laid my head down on the table. The ladies working there were probably scared because they came and gave me an orange juice. After shugging it, the nausea I had went away and my sight came back. I should really start drinking more.

Hi, I have had exactly the same thing as you have described here. The difference with me is that I am a heavy weed smoker so I have always just thought it was as a result of that. Do you smoke as well? just trying to see if there's a link

Mine started when I was 10. When I was 19, it got really bad, happening every morning. Someone suggested it was low blood sugar, and said that I should eat in the morning. Eating something every morning definitely helped! And now when I have episodes, if I have anything with a bit of sugar, it alleviates the symptoms.

Oh my god. :") Its good to know that I am not alone.
When I was 14 years old, while taking a stroll through the park, I suddenly heard this very loud, screechy noise of the huge flock of birds passing by. Before I knew it, all my senses were shutting down. First my ears, all I could hear was a buzz and nothing, nothing else. My eyes however, were alright. I thought that I was dying. I fell to the ground and could not get up, with my feet and hands being temporarily paralysed. I wanted to scream, to call out to people and express my fear, anger and confusion. But could not. It lasted for five minutes and everything was alright. It was a traumatic experience for me. When I went to the doctor, he just laughed it off and explained that it was only because of stress and nothing else.
I hope that we all would find a specific answer to this question.

I just had the same thing! Im 21 but I had my first one in 8th grade..hot neck/ears, stomach pain, seeing white/loss of vision, ears ringing/static, not in control of movements. im dealthy afraid of needles & blood..but the one I had 20 mins ago was the worst of the ive had. Mind you I had not eaten much today but i had NEVER had one while driving..It was my safe zone where I would never have these symptoms until tonight. I was on my way home when the symptoms began to hit me. ringing ears, vision loss and no control of movements. the whole thing probably lasted 2 mins max but it felt longer. I ended up on the other side of the road over the curb. IT WAS tHE MOST TERRIFYING thing to ever happen to me because I felt I had no control. I proceeded to get back to the other side of the roadish by seein the street lights which were super blurry at the end of the road was the stop sign and I was starting to come too at this point but not fully, just enought to pull into my driveway safely. I stumbled into my house and fell on the floor. I managed onto my bed and just sat there for about 30 more seconds..rounding out the 2 mins wondering what had just happened to me. I was so out of control and it was terrifying as usual. I dont know if I had low blood sugar, hadnt eaten enough or what.

It has happened to me since i was 15. I noticed it happens when u eat right before u sleep the wake up in the morning, and/or when u have been lazy all day sitting/laying watching movies or studying or browsing the web and then u get up after a long time. I dont think it happens out of the blue, but it did once during a school assembly when we were singing the national anthem. Im sure it goes away when u are physically fit because i play sports but for the past week i have done nothing except sleeping, movies and eating and its happened to me today again after a long time but this time there was very loud buzzing noises like tinnitus in my head.i think it helps if you stay physically fit because it helps me and in theory its correct too because when ur fit then ur heart pumps blood in a healthy manner.

It has been quite a while since I started experiencing these types of symptoms first it wasn't that much of a big deal when I feel a bit dizzy I simply sit and it would go away as fast as it came but when I was in 7th grade on a school trip on a sunny and hot day I felt like I was literally passing out, I felt dizzy and I started to loss my vision like I just walked indoors after staring at the sun for too long and my friends were asking me what was wrong(I couldn't tell what they were saying exactly because it felt like they were very far) I tried answering and my voice felt like it wasn't mine but another's ( who was far away) suddenly I start breaking cold sweat and slipping into unconsciousness I visited a doctor and I was told it was dehydration because of the heat although i always drank plenty of water and I tend to avoid feeling extremely hot it kept happening on cold days too. I visited a doctor again and had tests done and still nobody knows for sure what is happening to me!!!

I am a 17 year old male who has had problems similar to these, although it has gotten progressively worse. If I get up to quickly my eyes will go completly white I won't be able to see, I won't be able to stand I will feel nauseous. Resently It has gotten worse now when this happens I can no longer hear out of my right ear for a little while and I will have terrible head aches. This happens between 2-5 times a day. I am unaware of what is happening it scares me since no doctor can explain it. Ive had cat scans and multiple mris for this problem, yet nothing found. Someone please help me figure out what this is.

This happens to me as well, not sure why. First time when I was 16. Happens once or twice a year, but the last time was in 2008. I don't know why, or what causes it. Scares the hell out of me, cuz it comes out of no where, where ever you may be.
Hope we find an answer. Scared me, cuz I was on public transportation with my babies, and almost missed our stop. Had to have my son ask bus driver to wait.

Btw, I am now almost 40, and just almost happened again. I now know how to make it go away when I feel my ears going, and I start getting that tunnel vision effect.

A similar thing happened to me a few days ago and I'm going to make an appointment with the doctor. Better off just checking everything's ok :) I have low iron and low blood pressure though so I blame that! X

I've been experiencing these symptoms for about 5 years now. I am currently 18. I remember the first time it happened I was in the shower in 8th grade, but it didn't happen again for Atleast a year or 2. last year I was having it happen quite often, but it was when I was going through a really hard time and wasn't eating so I assumed it was related to that and still haven't gone to the doctors about it. there have been 2 times where it's happened from me seeing blood, and another time when I got my tongue pierced but the rest of the times(so many I can't even remember them all) were all so sudden and random. it happened to me today at work; and just 2 weeks ago when I was sitting at my kitchen table. I'm starting to become super worried. the only difference in my symptoms is that i ALWAYS throw up after a few minutes of having my vision be completely black, and my ears ringing. luckily I have never been alone when this has happened, and whoever is there puts cold towels all over me as I'm pouring out sweat and burning up. once I throw up, my vision comes back and my ears stop ringing and I become freezing cold from being covered in sweat. I feel like I'm dying every single time and it's becoming really really concerning to me/ but seeing all these comments makes me want to go out of state and get tested, as I live in Vermont and the doctors here pretty much know nothing when it comes to things like this. I have had multiple friends with awful illnesses who still to this day have no clue what causes it because every test the doctor tests them for comes back negative. I just need a good doctor and some answers :(

OH MY GOD! This exact thing would happen to me over and over for a few years when I was a teenager. I never knew what was happening to me!!!!
First, something would happen that would make me feel uncomfortable, bad thoughts, someone saying something hurtful or acting weird etc. Second, i would feel dizzy, heartbeat would speed up and i would get hot, then several things would happen very quickly or all at once: rapid shallow breathing (hyperventilation), sweats, my hearing would sound like i went underwater, then i would almost pass out or fall into the floor, extreme dizziness, confusion, my hearing would turn into very loud static like on a bad tv channel or radio station, then my vision would blur or i would see all kinds of colored lights or it would go black around the edges, then i would feel the sensation of my soul leaving my body, then cold sweats, then the static sound was replaced with a very high pitch like from shellshock, then i would slowly calm down, vision would return, diziness would cease, hearing returned, breathing steadied out and I would lay there for awhile until I felt okay enough to sit up. People around me said all the color would leave from my body and my eyes would glaze over. It was absolutely terrifying. I never went to the hospital or dr because it was mostly happening after i would smoke marijuana, but then i quit smoking for months and still this would happen. One day it just stopped happening. But i still get lightheaded and hot and feel like I am going to pass out. I found out recently that it was my blood pressure dropping suddenly but after a few moments it returned to normal and i was fine. The drs at the hospital said that sometimes your blood pressure drops for no apparent reason. But i never told them about the other symptoms i had when i was younger. Thank god it doesnt happen anymore. Its been about four or five years since the last time.

The EXACT same thing happens to me! I've completely lost consciousness twice (once while watching a civil war video in my history class (7th grade), the second time my teacher was talking about donating plasma (8th grade)) the past two times after those though i haven't completely lost consciousness. A year or two ago my mom was in the ER and i was in the room with her and the doctors were talking about the tests that they needed to do and i felt the symptoms coming. Today (i am now in 12th grade) we were watching videos of blood draws and i could feel the symptoms coming on (dizzy, cold sweats, fuzzy vision) so i asked to leave the class but i couldnt move my legs and then my vision completely went black, that has never happened without me going totally out of consciousness. it took several minutes for me to get my sight back and even longer for my hearing to come back, i couldnt really talk either. i felt my knees buckle and i could feel myself fall but i dont remember hitting the floor. I totally understand what you mean about the energy being sucked out of you, its such a weird sensation. i know my dad was sensitive to blood too but he got over it. It's probably genetic. Did you ever find out the cause?

I had it some couple of times, the first one is when I was in summer holiday when I was 8. Me being an insider, lay on my bed 24/7 doing nothing but browse to the internet. When I went to the kitchen to get something to eat, it happened to me. I could hear my mom talked to me and I was trying to tell her I felt weird, but somehow my voice come out weird. It stopped after like a minute. Another one happened when I was like 15 I (I'm 16 now) I almost collapsed in the bathroom, but later I found it to be dengue fever. After experiences, I realize it's mainly because I lack of water. Everybody, always drink water.
