For about 3-4 months every time after i have a bowel movement there is bleeding and like it takes a while for it to stop. And there is some red in the movement as well. What do you think this is and why is it happening?

Bleeding can be due to simple things like haemorrhoids but with blood through the stools you should have a colonscopy. Things to outrule would be an inflammatory bowel disease or a bleeding polyp etc. You should get this checked out.
I'm having painless bleeding for over 2 months whenever I have bowel movement or lift something heavy. What is causing this?
