I had a colonoscopy and a polyp removal about a month agoand I am still bleeding is that normal?

Hi! Colonoscopy for polyp removal is a standard procedure and is well practiced. Although it is normal to have some bleeding after, this would normally be expected to clear up within a couple of weeks with everything going back to normal, so you would normally expect the bleeding to have stopped by now. You don't say how much blood there is, but if it carries on and is really noticeable, or you get any other symptoms you should go back to the docs to get checked out. You might just find that things have just taken a little extra time to heal – remember you have had surgery, but it’s better to be safe.
