I recently had an ablation, novasure because of heavy bleeding, irregular cycles and vertigo because of it all. I had cramps all the time. Sept 18, 2015 I had the ablation done in the clinic. I was given some hydrocone, Valium and a nausea pill to take before hand. I was also given a shot of toradol just before the procedure. I was awake thru the whole thing and felt the whole thing. I was in instant excruciating pain and then began throwing up. The nurse even told me that I was pale. I finally told then I just wanted to leave so I could lay down. I took more nausea meds and more pain pills with no relief. I felt like I was burning on the inside. The discharge was not bad at all, but I could not get rid of the pain. I was missing work and calling the dr to let him know how I was feeling. On Oct 1 I started hemmoraging. I made numerous calls to the clinic and was told that I had a hard time with the procedure and I will have some pain and bleeding. I spent all day crying. I finally called them again after passing HUGE clots and excessive bleeding. They told me to come in. I found out in had an infection and was prescribed 2 strong antibiotics and pills to stop the bleeding. After a week the bleeding finally stopped, but the pain has never gone away. I can't walk or stand for too long or it becomes worse. I can't lift anything. Leaning against the sink to wash dishes hurts. Vacuuming is oit of the question. I can't let my bladder get full or I hurt more. Or of I need to have a BM it hurts. Just sitting hurts. It never goes away and nothing helps. I literally take Tylenol pm just so I can sleep. I am totally exhausted, have gained weight and feel worse than before the ablation. I have no idea when my cycle is going to be since I bled since sept 5, 2 weeks before the procedure and stopped mid Oct.
I just got married sept 5 and sex is totally out of the question as its too painful. I'm still having a burning sensation like the one right after the ablation.
I have an apt Nov 19 to see my doctor, now mind you a follow up appt was never discussed or scheduled.
I thought I was just having a hard time with this. But my sister in law sent me a link to experiences other woman have had.
Has anyone had similar problems as I have? I know I'm just shy of 2 months out from the ablation, but at this point I feel like something is wrong.
