Hi, i am 17 years old and been on sprintic bc for the past 2 years i recently started having intercourse last year..iv had 2 partners and the second one is the only one that makes me bleed he is larger then my first and we still have intercourse time to time...recently we had intercourse and i was bleeding very heavily i didnt notice till after but also i havnt taken my bc at all that week. i didnt think it was a big deal i just thought because i havnt done it in so long and he was fairly large. the bleeding ended in four days like my usual period..but im still wondering what could have caused that.
Er, bleeding is not a natural side effect of intercourse.

There are only two 'natural' associations of bleeding and the vagina:

a) losing your virginity (slight, if any, blood)
b) your period (amount variable by person, but ideally regular and predictable)

If your partner is literally 'tearing you up', that may sound cool in a novel, but it's hardly doing your body any good in the long term.

If it is definitely associated with one partner, and intercourse with that partner, I would suggest first, a visit to a clinic or doctor, shortly after it happens again, for an examination, so they can properly advise you as to the nature of the bleeding, and following that, depending on what they say, you may have some choices to make about what your body can take, and what you're willing to allow.

The range of sexuality and tolerance on the planet is astonishing, and if the diagnosis is damage, and you choose to allow that, that's up to you, but it is only reasonable that you should understand what is really happening, and the consequences, so you can make an informed choice
