My small blister on my scrotum is seeping all the time. NOT bleeding but droping a spot and it sticks to my underware and it hurts when it's separated. The Uroligst cauterized it (VERY PAINFUL) added neosporin ointment and a gauze pad. I continued this along with moisturizer daily to no avail. The next visit he said it might be a case of a staff infection. He prescribed antibotics and after a week. NOTHING. I see my Primary doc today. I'll let you all know if anything works.

first time it happened about eight months ago, getting out the shower drying me off i saw some dark red blood on the tiles, told my wife to check if it was her time of the month. while cleaning it up saw fresh blood dripping from me, thought i cut myself after checking discovered it was coming from my scrotum, such a tiny hole but so much blood totally freaked out. Happened yesterday again also getting out the shower and drying me off, doc found no little cuts or anything under microscope. I thought i was the only one with this problem, looks like drying with the towel and maybe the warm shower has something to do with it.

If you go to a pet store don't laugh they have a powder to clot the wound. I cut my dogs and cats nails to short and they bleed dip their nail in and it clots right away. Called Kwik Stop! :D All Better!!

Its scary the first time it happens (so far just one) it stopped after 10-12 minutes just putting pressure on it with a paper towel. I thought that pricking it I would get rid of it but NOPE, still there, along with a few more, so now I just let them alone, If is not broken, don't fix it Y'all. The pin sized dark spots look funny, but are not that terrible to live with.

OK... sounds like we have room for a new outpatient clinical procedure here.  If this is a common problem that freaks a lot of men out and is largely not discussed in any more public forum than this, is it time to offer a simple, very specific cauterization to address the problem while making the public aware of the problem and the treatment?

Of course, we'll need a catchy name for the clinic.  Please answer with worthy suggestions.

How about...

OUT, OUT DAMN SPOT, The Always Friendly Scrotal Cauterization Clinic?

HONORE DE BALLZAPP?

UNCONTROLLABLY BLEEDING BALLS BEGONE?

Of course, there will be a period of testing out and fine tuning the scrotal cauterization technique.  Do we go with a very clinical looking version of the electric soldering pen, or a very small version on the traditional L shaped hot poker through the metal washer sort of medieval device.  Hey, it worked fine for 3000 years!

Yes, after some more adventurous than usual hair trimming, I noticed these little blood colored spots and yes, I picked at one and the sunovabitch would not stop bleeding.  We're talkin' me wrapping everything with a cut up old towel, and having to leave the house with my pants puffed out like I had on Depends with a gallon o' pee in them.  Way blood.

Had the same thing happen in the shower. Small dark spot on my scrotum.  I had the brilliant idea to pinch it like a zit.  The blood just kept dripping.  15 min later I decided to turn on just the cold water and spay my scrotum to get everything to shrink down.  Boy did everything shrink, but it worked, the bleeding all but stopped in just ~2 min.  Dried off and put on underwear and pulled them up tight to add some pressure.  It worked, totally stopped the bleeding.  Ice on just the bleeding probably would have been better.

Here i am, 4am, I finally have found some superglue and put a dab there to seal it so i can get some sleep. after sitting at the computer for an hour
after taking a look at something i should have left well alone when doing the pre-sleep bathroom visit over an hour and a half ago.

Pinching worked initially, but as there was a lot dried blood i made the mistake of cleaning up and it started again 8-| and couldn't recreate my initial success. The vein wasn't keen on stopping with witch hazel or deodorant, also a bit of ice helped briefly, then when it warmed up again it started before it could clot, even with pressure. Superglue although not the best item to use has admittedly done a good stop gap fix to get me out of strife until this heals up.

Lesson learned, check the  nuts, but don't go messing with bloodblisters in that location.

Got out of the shower awhile ago and saw a drop of blood on the floor, and eventually realized it was coming from my scrotum. Wouldn't stop bleeding for sure, for 15 minutes or so. Jumped on the Google, and luckily found these posts. Went and laid down with a pillow under my butt to raise that area above  my  heart, and the bleeding stopped almost immediately. Does not appear to be any insect bite or scratch or anything; must have caused the initial bleeding by simply drying with the towel.  Pretty freaky, but seems to be fine now.   I can see that the little spot the bleeding was coming from was right along the path of a little capillary.  ??

look for" angiokeratoma" in the internet for answer. Forget insects,etc..

This has happened to me about three or four times. Tissue compresses usually stopped it. The last time it wouldn't slow down after an hour. I slipped on a pair of shorts, stuffed a clean white sock in and went the the ER on Easter Sunday. Got a few looks walking in holding my crotch, mainly from the cops. The ER doctor had not seen it before but was not concerned. He used what he called skin glue to seal it over. I asked if that was available over the counter. He said no, but said it was super glue. It fell off a few days later with no recurrence so far. The nurses were impressed with the makesift compress(sock).

If you look closely, you will see they are on tiny veins. I had been taking low dose aspirin as a precaution against stroke etc (I am healthy !) and popped one...I had to sit up all night, couldn't risk going to bed and bleeding away all night un noticed. I used a clothes peg and paper wad to clamp it. Once removed (paper wad was stuck on!) the clothes peg and knocked the paper, it started all over grrrrrr. The aspirin had thinned my blood. I reckon it took about 12- 14 hours !
Not funny ! Looking for some "Nu Skin" used it years ago, it stings but what the hell !

That's exactly you have to do. Bleeding will stop. The bleeding is because the capillary in there is broken, it's normal wear and tear. The capillaries go very close to the outside of the skin, that's all

I had the same problem...I used styptic pencil to stop the bleeding.

I only reached to scratch..not with my nails..but kind of a pinching scratch with thumb and index finger. Pretty scary huh?
