Same thing happened to me this morning, reassuring to read these threads,

40 minutes, and I applied a Q-Tip to the area and compressed it, I too had the blood soaked paper tissues. H

Hello this is simply a blood vessel that's too close to the skin. They pop up once I a while but eventually go away nothing to be worried about

Gidday...yep this happened to me today....out of the shower, drying off, rough towel, sudden bleeding from vein on scrotum. Dark blood and wouldn't stop. After attempting to stem the flow with tissues etc. we popped a couple of ice blocks into a clean cloth and just held it on the are for a few minutes (bloody cold gonads for a bit) and it stopped the flow.

Hello - the trick is to get the gravity! put two pillow and put your legs slightly raised, blood pressure reduce- it took 3 minutes to stop.

its the Key to stopping the bleeding. 100% IT WORK FOR ME.

Be very careful using the crazy glue, i applied it to a cut on my lower shin ( DUHHH ) and i wound up with a blood clot. Luckily I Had GONE to the doctor and he put me on a blood thinner. This was about a year and a half ago.

First of all, super glue was actually developed as a way to seal wounds in the field during Vietnam, so your husbands action was pretty smart.

First, thanks for this site.  I was in a hotel room in Autralia, stepped out of the shower, and there it was -- blood streaming from my scrotum.  I went to the Inter

But there's the one thing I can't find anywhere on site.  Can people share how often this RE-occurs?  Thanks.

I just had this same thing happen to me. Got home from work, took a piss, and saw what I thought was a sea tick on my sack. (I live out in the boonies and did a lot of yard work over the weekend) I went to go pick at when it finally opened and I quickly realized that it was not a sea tick. This tiny pin prick bled profusely for maybe 45 minutes to an hour. I ended up sitting on my bathroom floor with some pieces of tissue paper pressed tightly on the tiny cut. I applied neosporin three times to the open wound. After the first time I kept bleeding, the second time there was not as much blood and finally the third time after it stopped bleeding. Reading through these posts reassured me that there was nothing to worry about and that this is something that will just happen. My recommendation is to relax your body, apply some cold water on a piece of tissue paper to where it is bleeding, apply neosporin if you have any, and keep doing so every hour or so.

I didn't realise this was so common. Quite scary to see so much blood and because there was no pain I wasn't sure at first where it was coming from. I'm in 7 0's and had just started taking pills for erection problems (4 in 3 weeks) and it seems too much of a coincidence that there's not some connection. Any thoughts?

Need your comments on a similar yet different problem. There is a small area close to the tip of my penis is gets cut very easily. Each time after intercourse, the same spot on the skin is torn and bleeding. This has been going on for about 2 years. Any ideas?
