Mid thirty and first incident, I took a warm shower for 10 mins like normal and notice drips of blood falling to the bathtub drain.

I got out of shower and checked my self for where boold was originating and it was the scrotum. I applied pressure for 20 mins and neosporin and laid down.

So far it stopped but will probably go to a physician to confirm its nothing serious.

Guys I had this problem last night after a shower.Suddenly I see blood on the floor. Because this has happened to me before I knew what to do. I washed the area thoroughly and squeezed the tip with my thumb and index finger to stop the blood and immediately applied after shave liquid .It burned like hell but within a minute the bleeding stopped.

Noticed blood on towel after shower. Managed to stop bleeding after about 10- 15 minutes using a styptic pencil. Seem fine since although still stinging a bit.

I got bit by a tick on my scrotum and pulled it off but after I did it was bleeding but no more then thirty seconds a couple days later where I got bit at there is a hard spot under the surface and a black scab looking thing on my scrotum where the bite happened any explanation? Kinda worried if it will go away or if it's gonna stay

Seems to be a common problem. Second time for me (first time was a long time ago). Just aggressive drying with a towel did it. Once I found the culprit, I just pinched it with a tissue for awhile and applied "liquid bandage" to it. Stuff smells like glue and acts like glue, but it stopped it... For good measure, I put a spot band-aid on it. Not looking forward to pulling that off.

While having my shower today, I noticed droplets of red blood from my scrotum. I was scared, because it never happened to me before. It continued for about 5 minutes. I then applied toilet tissue paper to cover the bleeding spot. It then stopped. My immediate internet search about the scrotum bleeding led me to this page. Thank you all for your comments. I no longer feel alone about the bleeding. Also, it's good to know what it is (angioma), and that it is not life-threatening!

Thanks Doc C. I am 62 and it happened to me this morning when I scratch myself down there while on the can. Scared the hell out of me, Thanks for your input.

Scratched/readjusted the nuts, felt the little bump, went to the bathroom for a looksee, and popped that thing with no hesitation... Holy hell, it's no joke when people say A LOT of blood can come out of a pinhole cut/laceration! Damn near a half roll of TP and a what looked like a horror scene preceded to take place in my bathroom for the next two hours. I pinched/pressured it, tried new skin, soaked a bandaid right though, held my nuts for a good half hour with gauze. After one handing my left nut while searching the internet for this site, I resolved to just wrapping it up as quickly as possible with a ton of gauze, strangle it up with way too much medical tape and get horizontal. Been laying now for about 2 hours and I'm gonna have to say it (getting horizontal) is what I think worked for me. If it was still going the gauze would definitely be showing some red horizon. Best of luck to you/us and our bloody testicles.

Same thing happened this am after shower. I finally put on a pair of sacs underwear and one of the wife's maxi pads. Plus a spare in my pocket. What an inconvenience.

I just had this happen to me. Took me well over an hour to stem the blood. I pinched instead of pressing. Awkward position to press on as my testicles were doing some running around. Scary it was. Saw a little pimple like lump and picked it then came blood.
