I am 25 years old. Every couple of months my gums are bleeding, sometimes it is during PMS and gums are very tender during that time. I have this problem for a long time, but sometimes pass like 6 months and I think it is ok, it stopped and that all gain. I didn’t know how top stop the bleeding. My mom said that when my gums are bleeding that means that my immune system is weak. Is that true?

There are so many reasons for bleeding gums: dental conditions, gingivitis, gum disease, diabetes, bleeding disorder… vitamin deficiency, etc. My really good friend had gum disease and she had occasional bleedings. I know that she had to go on treatment for six months and now she has to use special type of tooth brush and tooth paste. Please, tell your dentist about this!
