I get these all over my hands. I've noticed that they come whenever I'm stressed out and I eat too much sugar.
I just got a bad outbreak during finals after drinking monsters and sodas.
I used to get them really bad when I was a kid but they pretty much went away. I did eat a lot of candy when I was younger.

I just happened upon this list. Just as in ancient days in Babylon when a sick citizen was obgliged to sit in the middle of the road and others were obliged to offer help if they could, I feel compelled to speak. Small fluid filled blisters on the hands and feet can be caused by any number of things. As it looks like no one has mentioned the possibility of the microscopic mite called scabies, I must. They are spread by very close physical contact to bare skin, either in a professional or non-professional (ahem!) way. They disappeared in the US shortly after WWII, but have since returned to the infectious scene. They cause no life-threatening disease, other than nightmare itching and wretched. weeping, scaly sores. The tip is that the itching is so intense during sleep, it wakes you up. Some 40 years ago I saw four specialists in New York City with no relief. Luckily, the fifth man hab been through WWII in the service. He knew instanly what was wrong and after a laborious treatment of Kwell lotion and shampoo (causing their own problems), the little mites were gone. It took about a week or two for the little blisters to disappear, but they did. I never saw the critter itself, as they are too small for the naked eye to see. I think that Kwell may have been replaced by other less irritating products, but the remedy used is very specific, and ordinary mite killers won't do the trick -- not in my day anyway. It is assumed that middle class people who shower every day do not get this disease -- simply not true! I hope this helps those who have tried everthing else.

i don't know if it's the same thing as all of you but let me tell you how i see it, ok first it starts of as a small red dot type of thingy, just a dot not rising of the skin or anything after a bit of time it start rising looks kind like a small pimple except with no head and filled with a clear (thicker than water) liquid, sometimes it's kinda itchy but not enough to scratch just feel it and sometimes if i touch one it feels like if i had gotten burn there, also if the skin in that area is stretched out it bothers. and it's on the hand or mostly on the hands and fingers has anyone found something i know it's not scabies, i have tried the Kwell lotion just in case if anyone knows something thanks ^__^
[ ps just some quick info: i live in new york, i'm a male 20 years old and have girl hands, in other words they are not rough "like a guy should have"]

I started getting the pinhead small redish/skin tone blisters on both hands, usually on the sides or near the nail. They itch sometimes if i bother them but most of the time i feel nothing..i've never tried to pop them in fear they'd spread.

My friend visited me from Japan and gave me a 50 yen coin, i started wearing it on my necklace. I've read that NIKEL can cause these kinds of allergic reaction. But I'm not sure it's exactly the cause.
I also get warts on my hands too..i'm not sure if they are connected tho because i've read they are "common warts".

The "masturbation" comments have made me question tho. I recently did this and the next day I saw a blister on the side of my right hand...I duno if it's irritating my skin because of the friction or if the yeast theory is correct.
I guess i just have to visit a doctor.

Hope u all find whats going on!

Responding to a 2 year-old thread but, it's likely you're experiencing a Dyshidrosis event.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyshidrosis  It seems there are several possible causes for dyshidrosis: stress, fungi (athlete's foot is a fungus-related event), yeast infections, allergies, and so on.  You can aggrevate the blistering problem by breaking the blister(s) and while the outbreak is worrisome it is NOT contagious.  Topical applications, such as Cortizone oinments, will ease irritation but application will not hasten the blister(s) departure; it will, though, soften the dry, slightly scaling areas left by the receeding blister(s).  To my knowledge there is no cure.  Take care of yourselves.

I agree, but this is the definitely the problem I have. I had a bunch break out on my right hand finger about 2 weeks ago. My hand was so stiff, it was hard to close. They are all but gone now. I had a few previously, but I didn't pay them much mind. Presently I have a single clear pinhead blister on my left hand. It has been there for 3 days now and does not appear to be drying out. I will watch it. It does not itch at all. Also, I do notice areas of my hands that seem sensitive. It's like someone mentioned..as if I had been burned. Honestly, I feel as if my immune system has been compromised somehow. Does anyone have any other strange symptoms? I'm also thinking this may have something to do with the hepatitis vaccination I took. Vaccinations anyone?

I am having the same problem and it is definitely effecting my life. I found this thread in an effort to fix my problem. I get tiny blister-like bumps in clusters on the sides and tops of my fingers. They are extremely itchy and in an effort to relieve the itch I burn my fingers with the hottest possible water that I can get. After they pop they dry up and I get a layer of dead skin that flakes off where the blisters once were. I have been to the doctor three times over it since November 2010. They said it looked like an extreme allergy or some type of poison plant (poison oak or ivy)and gave me steroids. It did fix it as long as I was on the steroids but 10 days after starting a 7 day steroid prescription. They were back. I have had no problems with yeast infections. In fact I blamed it on a new dog that I had gotten just before the problem started. This new dog had demodectic mange which is not contagious to humans but on rare occasions humans can have a reaction from them. The problem was the reaction and my symptoms didn't match up. I still have the dog and she is still being treated off and on for her condition. I know for a fact that scabies is not the problem my children and fiancé are not effected what so ever by my aliment. As I have stated before I have been to the doctor on several occasions and even specifically asked them if it could be scabies. They immediately replied "no".

I have discovered what my problem is..I have H. Pylori. I'm currently taking medication. Everyone, do yourself a favor and Google it. It has a multitude of symptoms varying depending on the individual. It is also very common although unknown to most people. If you do not have insurance the doctor probably will not test for H. Pylori..none ever did for me. I had not even heard of it before I recently went to my doctor with insurance. The first thing she said is, "You may have H. Pylori" and sure enough I do. I've had this sh*t for over 2 years. Ugh!

it could be scabies..I went to the doctors I had no idea what it was they gave me a cream to put on because nothing over the counter worked. as soon as I used the cream they went away but I Had to wash clothes, bedding ect..in hot water at 130 degress then throw all clothes and bedding in the dryer at a hot setting... vacuum and wash furniture and carpets. They are hard to get rid of. I would definitely go to the doctors. If it is itchy and there is clear fluid coming out plus they keep coming back chances are it's scabies.

water may be the answer for some of u it was for me & my problem is chronic now because i solved the problem to late by a skin specialist. stop using water based products & start using rubber gloves only wash hands once a day & with shower, if they get wet other times dry immediately see if this helps within a month. it may just solve ur problem i also try to find different stuff to dry my hands out when i cant keep them from getting wet. it wont go away fast its fast coming & slow to go! but its not fun when it gets so bad it wont ever go away totally. tiny water blisters, rashy dry & cracked skin & when bad itchy till the water leaks out, then pain from being raw from itching

I get little itchy bumps on my right middle finger once in a while(for probably 20 Yrs) they go away on their own after a day or so. But a few yrs back it got worse and the blisters were on my hands and feet--I did a lot of reading and found something called Pompholyx or dishidrotic excema-one of the articles I read said it could be caused by an undetected yeast infection somewhere in the body--So I took an antifungal oral medication-(i believe Lamisil) I think I only took it for a week(my husband had leftover pills from a nail fungus he  was treated for) and my symptoms were gone. I think there is definitely a yeast connection.
