Hi all,

This is my first post here but I thought you could help me.  For the past few months it seems something has changed and I don't know what.  I'll give some background.

-I'm 37 years old and in very good health.  I eat extremely well.  No fast food, no soda, no red meat, nothing processed.  I exercise daily quite vigorously and am not overweight.  I do have Epilepsy and am on Keppra and Topamax but it is very well controlled.  No issues.  I take vitamins (C, B, D, Fish Oil, Evening Primrose Oil). I also take a whey protein, glutamine, and BCAA's after I workout.

So this is my recent issue.  It seems like everytime I eat, which is very frequently, small meals, I feel full very quickly and have this lump in my throat.  Very annoying.  Also, I feel this pain in my upper stomach/chest (not sure where) and I am constantly feeling bloated (lower stomach).  I always thought maybe I needed to lose that last bit of weight maybe but I really think it is bloating.  I am 5'4" and weight about 130 or so.  Can't hurt to lose a few.  I used to never burp at all but recently I have been which is odd for me as I always got laughed at for not being able to burp.  Never a skill I learned, haha.  I was happy with it being the quiet female I am.

So I had an Upper GI and ultrasound this morning and it was normal.  Hmmm!  The doctor said he'd send me to a GI specialist but I thought I'd see if any of you had some ideas for me.

Thanks a bunch.

Jo
