I had my gallbladder removed December 10th of 2015 and I'm experiencing the bloating in the stomach... what about taking some pills to help the digestion so you don't get bloated????.

Mine is doing the same thing and the Dr can't figure it out

I had my gallbladder removed when I was 14. I am now 31. Like many of you I had severe mystery pains and had to be taken to emergency more than once. My doctor scheduled me to see a surgeon and he told me i didn't need my gallbladder and I needed it removed. That it would be quick and easy. 16 years later and I still have diareah after every thing I eat. Even if it's just salad. I look like I'm 8 months pregnant at all times. I work Out and try to eat really healthy but no matter what it doesn't go away. I have tried many things, chia seeds, digestive enzimes, and bile salts. Nothing works.....

Hi there - I was googling the same thing and am curious about your condition now. My son had the same thing (stones blocked in the bile duct) which went undetected for some time as they could not believe it would be this - he was only 17. They removed it but he still swells and can't get any condition back in his abdominal area in the gym. I wondered if you could tell me which hormone this was and how you are now please. I am trying to get answers and a plan for his health. Many thanks Karen ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use

I’m going to try massive (walking briskly again) I have lived without my gallbladder for almost 15 years and the problem that I have is diarrhea sad to say meaning I have to be within the distance of a bathroom after I eat otherwise I’ve had accidents literally... if I know I’m going on a trip or I have to go driving different places I keep myself from eating anything and that is not a good thing for me because I have diabetes and I have to keep little food in my system so I don’t drop in my blood sugar level .

Just wondering how you are doing now..
My body went crazy
I'm a little over five months out of surgery
But I had the issues took valium some they perceived tried a cleans
I had heart pslpatations and all the mess built up in my system as they were not being filtered..
No matter what I took it always ended up causing heart palpatations some lasting four hours.
My doctors reg,Heart and Gastrologist insisted I was stressed out.
I had some stress as my cat died from cancer and had a huge job I couldn't work on.
And having these issues heart going crazy every time I tried to work..
I did not understand as I was ok and working about two weeks after surgery.
I was so bloated it was hard to bend over
Had breathing issues off and on..
I quit taking all med's
Drank alkaline water and lemon water
And looked up and made natural remedies to help liver..
I finally came to realize the Co2 gasses which is Corbin monoxide gets pushed and or trapped under diaphram and especially between diaphram and liver..
It builds and bloats it also gets redirected into intestines..
The kidney is over working trying to break it down n release but it gets trapped..it just stops normal working if your body..
I bought gallbladder formula however I'm working gssses out before giving body anything new
Culturell probiotics do help with no side effects no bloating
In my research I found
Eating limes
Drinking baking soda water
Bannanas
Calcium
Milk
All are recommended to get rid of gasses
Burping helps
Chewing peppermint gum just try not to take in air
And heating pad
Laying out in the sun really helped me a lot
Shoulder pain and leg pain is the gasses getting into the muscles which is better than
Trapped somewhere also means they are leaving your body....
Do your research on gasses
Off you don't know I imagine it takes longer to get them out if you ever do..
I hope this helps someone
I suffered hard finally seeing improvement wanted to share
Leary about trying dr bergs gallbladder formula as when I did super enzymes I felt better but had heart issue at work..
I'd love to know if anyone has tried it.

I had my gallbladder removed in June 2016 after having experienced multiple gallbladder attacks for about six months and having an ultrasound that showed that my gallbladder was very diseased and full of stones. I was told that I needed surgery but there was no conversation whatsoever about any potential complications afterward and certainly no conversation about dietary recommendations or food restrictions afterward. In fact, the only information I was really given was "your gallbladder is diseased. It needs to come out. You don't need it anyway. " (this is paraphrased, of course) With it being 21 months post-op, you would think that all would be well, but that is far from true. I have a constant sense of heaviness and tightness in my abdomen near the upper incision site (adhesions?), my stomach is swelled constantly and I am basically shaped like an Oompa Loompa, I have diarrhea, and bowel urgency after many meals, pain, and cramping. The worst thing by far is the bloat and tightness. I just don't feel normal and haven't since the day I came out of surgery. I don't think I am just being a wimp, either, as I have had multiple other successful surgeries in the past. I have had one complete pelvic repair when I was 33 years old to repair childbirth damage, one complete hysterectomy when I was 43, two cataracts removed when I was 45, and Lasik surgery when I was 30. I have always bounced back like a trooper and felt great within days of ALL of these surgeries, even the two abdominal surgeries in which I was cut open with a long cut across my body. The gallbladder was laproscopic and I expected another easy-peasy recovery and it is freaking me out that two years later I am still not back to normal. I agree with one of the "guest" posters on here who said that many people are being misled about this surgery. I tell everyone I know who is younger than me and eats like c**p "Change your ways now before its too late. Take care of your gallbladder before this happens to you, because it is a gamechanger." My 19 year old son inherited much of my genetics and has my exact same terrible eating habits (loves high fat food, fast food, heavy food) and I tell him constantly to knock it off or he will regret it. Of all the regrets I have in life, letting this happen to me is among my biggest. I know I couldn't have lived with the gallbladder attacks (it could have burst and killed me, for one thing), but this has definitely been the biggest lose-lose situation I have ever been involved in and I don't know how to make it better. I think it is time to see a nutritionist to talk about how I should be eating for the rest of my life as well as my doctor to schedule a look inside to see what it is that is feeling so heavy and tight in there. Good luck to all of you who are suffering similarly.

Thank you Lisa for the solution to your problem since I am having the same problem. My stomach gets so bloated and everything is tight for several hours after I eat and I am uncomfortable. I miss my slimmer body at the same weight I am now. I am going to discuss the super digestive enzymes with my doctor and see if this will help me. Again, I thank you for sharing.
