Mine is huge. I look ready to give birth. This has been 11 years now. I get bigger and bigger. I was 115 when I had surgery and now I have gotten so big I am 151. I am 5.3 1/2 in and cannot carry this weight. Every test has been done. I have constipation so bad I have to take Fiberall. It started 1 year after my surgery. I had a different procedure a year after the gallbladder surgery and BANG major changes. I have gas pockets now under my left rib. Took pictures and showed my Dr. He just cannot figure it out.

I am now in my 11th year. I cry everytime I shop. It just gets bigger and bigger. I was a small size 2 and now I don't even know what I am. I buy large in everything and some of it still is tight. I can't wear dresses at all because the pregnant belly is too prominent. I wear a lot of shirts with layed ruffles to hide it. Found jeans at Metrostly. They have elastic but also have a zipper and snap like regular jeans. They are the only ones I can wear. I still get a small and the elastic makes them fit. My legs are the normal size so the pants are a little baggy. I am a Texan and we like tight tight pants, so I had to adjust. I don't know what I would do without these jeans. Try them. They will make you feel a little better. I just want someone to cut me open and let the air out. My stomach is now pushing into my esophagus and my bladder has droppted. This is because there is no mor room for the air or what ever it is. If anyone knows what we can do PLEASE email. I have had every test available.

Are the digestive enzymes still working for your bloating?

I had my gall bladder out the end of April this year. I had mid back pain for a little over a year and thought it was due to the fact that I had the wrong bra size until the nausea set in. After discussing with the MD and the ultrasound, found out it was my gall badder and had it removed. Unlike some of the other poster's on here, i was given the education on proper diet to eat and how my body would adjust. After my two week check up the MD informed me to go to the health food store and get a bottle of ultimate enzyme, which I didn't, I wanted to try to do it myself. Now that I have grown 2 pant sizes, from a 6 to an 8 stretchy, I started doing some research and ran across your post. Needless to say i went and bought a bottle of digestive enzymes. Today was the first day that i woke up and my abdomen had not went down any at all! Before i left work this am my manager said, "You look like your 9 months pregnant." I'm totally miserable, and just like the others have a horrible discomfort in my right side. Just tired of the see-saw action of inconsistent bm's. i just know that i have to get some kind of control of this before i get a small bowel obstruction or end up not being able to tie my shoes. i've always been petite, and very active! i just want my body back. So here goes nothing. I'll let ya know if they work for me.

For those of you with constipation get some Pearl probiotics, this is the best stuff in the world for it. TAke once a day and you will be regular, with or without gall bladder. I took it before mine was removed and now after and have no more problems with constipation at all, its amazing, at least for me. I do have the bloating which really sucks, so I am going to try the enzyme too.

I had the same problem about a year after having mine removed. I was very bloated and was gaining weight. After a lot of research I also have found that digestive enzymes, 1 probiotic a day, and smaller meals really helped. I also started doing a lot of walking, I think it help moves things around a bit so you don't have that feeling like there's a big ball in you stomach. I've been doing this for about a year with some other exercise and have lost 20 pounds. One thing I do notice is if I don't stay on track with this I start to get bloated again. I hope this helps:)

I had my Gall Bladder removed 8 years ago.  My pain come from my stomach and couldn't tell that I had Gall Bladder surgery, but felt like I had stomach surgery.  I looked liked a round pumpkin and I cannot lose the weight in my stomach.  I also look pregnant and I was at a resturant the other night and someone was talking about me being pregnant.  Go figure, me at 55 years old.  Since my surgery, I have bloating, gas, cramps, diarrhea at times, constipation more than diarrhea, and the pain is bad at times and I get sick at my stomach.  When I do go to the bathroom every 4 to 5 day now, I completely empty out with a bowel movement.  I have been diagnosed wit Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Acid reflux.  No matter what medicine they give me, it doesn't help.  I get very tired of having a sick stomach because it seems like my food does not digest correctly.  I can tell the sickness comes from about the middle of my stomach.  I was never given any instructions on what you could eat and when I talked to the Doctor about how big my stomach is, he says that some people never lose the weight in their stomach.  I have had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, catscan, and they say nothing is wrong.  So I assume that my stomach cannot break down food like it should and I'm going to try the digestive enzymes and probiotic to see if this helps and I really hope it does.  I have gained from around 150 lbs to 232lbs and I am 5'8" tall.  I look like I am 9 months pregnant.  I hope this stuff helps me because I fell like I have suffered enough with this pain.

I will pray for all of you,

Linda

Hello  Everyone..

Hope this will help. I also had my gall bladder removed and after my stomach swelled and i looked like ( budda belly)  i looked on line a lot and have found this comes along with most everyone i have talked to that has had there's removed.

This is the part that no one tells you. there should be a book for gall bladder removal. red meat is hard for the body to get ride of, so i stopped eating it and the pain went away. as for the bloating i have found that taking a probiotic everyday  helps with the bloat and irrregular trouble. I was told by my doctor that you have got rid of what cleans things so there is nothing to do its job..  some people i have talked to cant eat eggs and other things so if you find something makes your stomach hurt don't eat it anymore .. you will figure out what works and what not to eat.. but try the PROBIOTIC i have been taking them for 2 years i take 2 a day each brand is different i have found collturelle works best for me.
