II am a 64 year old man/ had an issue last night where I masturbated before I went to sleep. Just as soon as I was done ejaculating, I realized I had to piss. I tried to go but the pipes were definitely set in sex mode rather than piss mode.and it was very painful and took a while for "everything to switch back to piss mode". I did not look at my piss, I normally sit when I piss as I have a Prince Albert piercing.
I went out to the jacuzzi and took a piss out there in my pool deck urinal. Again., I did not look at it. I had some caffeine-free diet Coke before this which which makes me piss frequently due to the carbonation. Before I went to bed I pissed again., This time I noticed a lot of blood and some frank clots in the toilet. The water was red. There was no dripping of blood from my penis after pissing. I recently moved up to a 4 gauge Prince Albert (from an 8 gauge) (for those not familiar with it - a Prince Albert piercing goes into the urethral meatus and comes out in the center through a piercing where the glans attaches to the shaft. I have had it 38 years with nary a problem with it. About 4 weeks ago, I did stretch the piercing a bit to accommodate the 4 gauge but it was no big deal *no bleeding) other than it was sensitive from being stretched for a few days.)
This morning, I noted that I passed a great deal of blood in my pool deck urinal last night before I noticed it at the inside toilet.
It does not seem to be in the PA area but higher up in my penis. I wonder if I blew a a urethral or prostate blood vessel straining to urinate when the pipes were routed to "sex" rather than "piss". Several friends have reported to me (usual guy talk) that they have had bleeding like this when they have tried to stop abruptly in midstream for some reason.
I though this may be the issue that happened to me; trying to piss against a "closed system" Fee fine this morning and no further bleeding. I am a retired RN, but I have to tell you all that the amount of blood even freaked me out.

Im 24, having the same issue as you all. The EXACT same issue. I don’t feel the need to go into detail. My only question is, has anyone found anything that could be the cause of this? Everyone is sharing experiences, and thats wonderful know that I am not the only one but what is the solution?

Nothing - no issues after that. Told my physician who agreed with me that it was probably trying to force piss against a "closed system". Did suggest that she would look into it further if it happened again. Thought that there was a remote possibility of a kidney stone that may or may not have passed since I drink so much pop.

Hello Concerned Gentleman, I first had this happen to me in college at around 19 years old. I had plenty of tests done, all clear. Happened all throughout college but then mysteriously went away. During law school it happened again (blood in semen, urine, blood clots....the hole nine yards) until my mentioned "you do drink a lot of coffee".
I cut out caffeine (coffee, tea, soda, etc) and the problem almost 100% went away. Now I only have spouts of it when very dehydrated or stress. I have a feeling if many of you CUT OUT COFFEE the problem will go away.

so i finally made it here too. after extensive googling, this seems to be the best discussion on the entire interweb.
so, now to my experience. not as traumatic and painful as many of you had.
at least so far. and fingers crossed that it won`t go there.
i am just recovering from a 1 month pneumonia and a 10 day cefixime course to cure it.
i also took lots of anti-mucus stuff. paracetamol for the fever. sleeping pills to be able to sleep at all. it`s not easy to sleep with pneumonia, and without sleep theres less recovery. as you now can imagine, i had to take loads of pills.
didnt have a drop of alcohol for 3 weeks. drank a lot of water and tea, obviously.
you could say i lived very healthy during this sick period.
one interesting thing to mention here, while talking medication i got.
the day before my blood in urine thing happened, my dr told me to start a second antibiotics course, because my lung condition didnt imrove enough from the cefixime course. this time 500mg ciprocep for 10 days. my blood in urine thing came the next day after taking the first pill of ciprocep.
to get back to topic, i didnt have sex much this month. the last week i didnt have sex once. until yesterday, when i suddenly got really in turned on, and with the gf at work, i took to the internet and a good old wank.
i was at it for 15 min or so. in a very normal fashion and about the same as always. something happened though.
when firing off, i see fairly big and kind of yellowis jelly like stuff coming out with the normal looking sperm. mixed up. and it started to sting pretty bad at the root of my penis. on the underside where the urethra and all sperm is coming up.
didnt think too much about it because i had that feeling a few times over the years. both with sex or masturbation.
the difference now, and why i am quite freaked out now, is that when taking a leak just 2 min later, i see drops of blood coming both in the start of peeing, and after peeing. the blood was in form od drops. not clots. and it kept dripping a few minutes. not much though.
now, about 36 hours later, it feels irritated and the blood drop peeing thing continues. but i want to emphasize. its drops. not streams.
when waking up to take the morning leak today, there was a few strings of clot like blod coming first. but really not much and there was just a small discomfort from the urethra meanwhile. all day until now, it`s night, it has been the same.
from all the reading, i think it sounds like this broken vessel thing in the urethra.
after all. never ever had it before. and it did start just when shooting the load. and the discomfort is strictly located on the underside of the shaft.
ami seeing the beginning of the hell some you guy`s describe, or do you think i dont really belong in the discussion here just yet ?
i am seriously freaked out obviously. even more now after reading all the posts.
anyone here who recognizes this, or had the same experience ?

Hey man, thanks for posting this. I am going through the exact same thing pretty much; your situation matches mine by like 85%. The main difference being I haven't done the whole doctor stuff (due to the fear of exactly what you went through; I had a traumitizing experience with a cathadar at a young age). Also I my clots haven't hindered my urination. I do notice it happens when I have more trouble keeping it up, so my girl rubs really hard against mini me, and other times where I was really craving it and needed less "foreplay" it didn't happen. I appreciate you sharing this and I look foward to an update.
