Hi I just had these same symptoms happen to me. No peripheral vision for 15 minutes. It then went away, my hand got numb, the right side of my tongue, the roof of my mouth, and on came a headache. Did any of you get a diagnosis yet?

Hello I am 25 years old and the same thing just happened to me again! I have only had this happen 3x in my life once about 4 years ago, once two months ago and about an hour ago! All 3x I was totally fine and felt great with no stress prior to this attack. This time I was sitting in my office after a really great lunch and bam! my left eye felt weird like it was moving and I could only see out of part of it when I looked directly at something. Also whe I looked down it was like zig zags were running across my eye! Then my right hand stating tingling up and down my arm and eventually went numb. It wasnt numb as in loss of sensation but numb like it was seperated from my body. Both this time and the time two months ago came out of no where and leaves me really shaken because it makes me feel like I can not control my own body. My vision finally is coming back to normal but even has I type my right hand mostly my pinky does not feel apart of my body. Oh and I have a pretty bad headache and my eyes feel very strained!

Is there anyone out there with a medical license that knows what all these patients are including myself are going through?? There has got to be an explantion somewhere, please help!

I have been getting the tingly numb face that goes into my mouth and tongue down my arm and sometimes down my leg for the past 15 years. I was to the dr and told it is a symptom of a migraine headache. After the numbness and tingles go away I have a horrible migraine that sometimes lasts for days. I have tried many medications but nothing seems to help. I can simpalize with everyone that deals with this it is awful and sometime consuming of your life. Try and stay positive and get rest in a dark room.

I have have all those same things happen. My "panic attacks" started a few years ago and I have had about two dozen. The blurry eyes, numb hands, lips, tongue and the horrible headache. I learned to live through it and can fully funtion while having an "attack". My doctor gave me some anxiety drugs that helped chill me out, but I found that the best thing was chilling out myself. I started tracking when I had them and what was going on in my life at the time. I leanerd to not put too much on my plate, eat half way decent and go to yoga. I also started going to therapy, which helped to talk about stressors in my life. Good luck to all of you, it is good to know that there are others out their with the same stuff going on.

wow it amazing that so far no one has found out whats the cure for this. I have exactly what everyone else has.. Its starts with a blurry vision and spots and it gets to a point where I cant see half of someones face. Then my left arm and mouth and tough gets numb and shortly after that I get a strong headache. When I have this I cant concentrate and just horrible. I don't know why this is going on I would consider myself very healthy, I'm all about organic foods and veggies. I hope maybe someone could tell me whats going on. It seems that Doctors now a days all they know is how to give you a pill but that doesn't take the problem away. Is there a cure for this?

I do not want to frighten any of you but keep a close check on these issues.
I have had migraines ever since I can remember. Several times, while at work, I experienced pretty much the same things you are describing.
After I had a Brain MRI last fall it was discovered that I have had a mild stroke. I am positive this happened during one of these migraine episodes. I remember after these episodes having a severe migraine headache, not being able to see and not being able to communicate verbally with my co workers. I knew what I wanted to say it just wouldn't come out right.
While my stroke was so mild I did not even know what it was....if you feel these symptoms and it causes you concern or makes you paranoid you should seek medical advice right away to determine it is just a migraine.
My episodes did make me paranoid enough to call my father and ask what his symptoms of heart problems were. That's what I thought was happening to me. Like a dummy, after his symptoms did not match mine, I chose to ignore it because I never thought of stroke, that was only for older people. I was in my early 40's.
Just wanted to give you a head's up.
People with migraines please pay attention and don't ignore warning signs of stroke no matter what your age.

Hi i am now 17 but have suffered these symptoms since 13. It all starts with blurred vision like a white fog and when i focus on an object less than half of it is visible. Then my arms fingers face and tongue go numb and my tongue tingles. When i then try to talk i slur my words and just cannot get them out correctly. This is then followed by a very painfull headache getting worse and worse for upto 5 or so hours. I was really concerned and when i went to see my local doctor he gave me these red migrane tablets and told me to try and avoid eating cheese and chocolate and drinking coffee but this was all useless. I have suffered this for the last 4 years about 40 or more times and seem to happen randomly as i can be without them from days to months. I have found that just your adverage paracetamol can help incredibly with the pain and even stop it but i have to take it as soon as i notice the first symptom(blurred vision) or else it doesnt work. Because of the ammount of times i have suffered this i cannot see it being a mini stroke but i could be wrong. I hope my reveiw was helpfull to you all.

Lily I had the exact same symptoms. I am 21 and healthy. This is the second time it has happened to me, last time(5 months ago) there was no problem with vision and the doctor said it was a complicated migrain but they really didnt have a clue. i had blood work and an MRI done and nothing was concluded from it. If you find any answers please let me know.

I am currently going through the final stage of it (that killer migraine) and with to dear God that there was something I can do. It has been the least intense of the 3 times, but possibly the worst to deal with since I already had a cold that makes breathing difficult. Combine those two and I can't sleep. I wish I knew what was going on or what I could do to control it beyond the basic aspirin/Tylenol/NyQuil stuff. If anyone has any idea, I'm more than open to trying something, anything next time it comes up.

And btw, every post has 33 thumbs up votes and 24 down votes...who votes down people discussing their medical problems? Just curious, hope to hear from y'all later, bye.

i have had similar symtoms, both my arms go numb and cold, my vision gets blurry, headaches, left leg painful, hard to describe, i had a nerve conduction test done. The DR. believes it is coming from my C-6-- C-7 cervical nerve damage, in 2006 i had a 5 disc fusion, i dont know if this would help you byt through my info. it can be your nerves, have you ever had a neck injury? something to consider
