Well when its 1.5 years down the line and he still does not manage it what is there? I have tried every suggestion going and its still not happening. Docs say its in his head but still whatever I do it does not happen. I want kids and a future, if someone cannot offer you that you can only give them so much time to try and sort the problem. I am at my wits end with it and feel it is simply not fair to ask me to wait any longer. Its nothing to do with not finding them attractive its how much energy I have put into the relationship and nothings changed. If someone has tired for that long and got no where I think it probably is not ever going to change. I am going to loose my best friend and what I thought was my future over this but I cannot be expected to be a nun for the rest of my days. Why should I be miserable? I simply do not feel for this guy what I used to feel because I cannot be intimate with him that way its like something has died in the relationship.

Hey! Its merely because he is very nervous and anxious about not being able to perform. I know you must be feelinge  like its your fault in addition to being frustrated. However, all will be fine once you guys start enjoting the process rather than focusing on getting to the finish. Enjoy foreplay and this will lift the pressure off him. Delay the actual intercourse part. And deny it for a while. He will make the move :-)

Ok well Im having this issue and him just really wanting nothing to do with me at all and was even told once that he needed to see a doctor he thought he had a dysfunction but then I found loads and loads of porn and you tube videos of him watching strippers and just anyone naked or semi naked he could look at so he had no problem getting it up and pleasuring himself to all of that so sometimes it is because of some kind of infidelity and its very hurtful and ruins any self esteem you had!!!!

I'm almost positive that is the issue. I'm a guy & had the same issue. If he has it too. It has nothing to do with you.

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for a year now and have been having sex for 3-4 months. The first time we tried had sex was a bit rocky because he couldn't get hard - likely due to nerves because we were both virgins. After that we worked on understanding that it will be okay and eventually we had amazing sex about 3-7 days later. We were having sex around 2 times a week and we were both feeling great! At first he had trouble ejaculating due to an anxiety about me getting pregnant, but after a week he was able too because he understood there was a very small chance of pregnancy concurring (condom +birth control.) We had great sex until about 1.5-2 months ago when he started having trouble getting hard. We tried more foreplay and tried to work around it 50% of the time we could have sex and the other 50% his penis would not work. It has just been getting worse. About 2-3 weeks ago we ran into an even bigger dilemma. IF he is able get set hard, once he inserts himself into me in a matter of 5-15 seconds he becomes flaccid. He is a healthy teen age boy (16) and this should not be a problem. He is with me as a type this. He swears that he is not gay, and he swears he is turned on emotionally and loves the feeling of sex with me. He gets very mad when his penis won't cooperate. We cannot seem to figure out what the problem is. He doesn't not masturbate or look at porn because we both only want to do sexual things with each other. Neither of us have masturbated  for about 7-8 months now, so it cannot be due to over excessive masturbation or porn.  It feels great for him and he is really turned on (emotionally) and want's to have sex. Can someone please help us? It's making us both feel like failures.

All of this is true but what if it's up during the first few minutes of intercourse and then isn't? Why is it that head makes him hard and sex makes him go soft???!!!!
