If there is any way you can put it off until you are 18 that may be good. I cannot truly advise you without seeing you, but you might get a consultation with a board certified cosmetic surgeon with your parents. Physical maturity is not the only concern in performing surgery for teens, also emotional maturity must be taken into consideration. For example, I will generally only perform cosmetic surgery on the ears and the nose for a teenager under the age of 18, and only after a thorough consultation with the teen and his or her parents. Sometimes the corrections are medically advised. Realistic expectations are important, as are the motivations for surgery. Cosmetic surgery for teenagers is controversial and I believe that informed and thoughtful guidelines must be observed during a consultation. The risks and benefits of surgery must be weighed, as well as the motivation. I understand that many women with disproportionately large breasts were teased as teenagers and this affected their self-esteem and body image. There are a few things to consider. One is breast feeding if you intend to have children in the future. Another concern would be your health now: if you have back, neck, and shoulder problems from overly large breasts or to avoid chronic nerve damage that can occur causing numbness in the hands and arms. I have a lot of compassion for what you are going through. Good luck.
