I've been looking for answers as well but I get nothing :(
Some ppl say it might be anxiety or just mind games but idk
I tried the medical marijuana and that sure does it for me
I don't like it in the mornings so for that I take emerol it works wonders makes me feel way better
Now I'm waiting for the day ill be able to stop taking it
Btw ive had this since I was a kid I am now 23 female
And just 2 weeks ago it got to the point that the nausea wakes me up
I have exactly the same problem. I had to stop going to school because as soon as i wake in the morning im SUPER nausea's or I'll actually vomit. This has occurred everyday for the last 6 months and 4 months ago i was hospitalized because i couldn't stop, I was really cold but sweating, at pass out point and then after admitting ran every test and it was negative but there medicine worked for the time being. I left the following day but continued being sick every day after that but usually only once or twice from 5-9 a.m and if i lay down i get more nausea's. I was then hospitalized again the day before thanksgiving with the same exact problem as the first time but even worse, I vomited from about 8 a.m to 9 p.m even after receiving several doses of medicine. They ran more test and again everything was negative, im suppose to see a specialist on the 11th but im scared it will be the same answer- Negative This has taken over my life, I cant drink with my friends, i cant stay over night at someone else s home, i cant sleep in, i cant be at early functions such as school, and most of all i cant play my senior year of softball at my school and Ive been playing since i was 4 years old ( This always brings me too tears) Feeling sick every day for 6 months straight takes its toll and can become very depressing and completely change a person, i pray and hope to god to find an answer to my problems so i can live a normal young life like im suppose to- Sorry i have no one else to talk to who knows what its like.
My 19 year old daughter has this same problem which is why I am on this post. I wanted to see what others had to say. This has been going on with her for years now. She has a low thyroid and takes medication and thinks this is to blame. So she started taking it at a different time of day. No changes. One thing that did occur to me is that it might be a parasite. My step daughter had all these same symptoms for a year or more before she finally found a dr. that knew what he was doing. Something you might want to have checked
Dear Reader,
I feel I should say something, but I don't want anyone to jump to conclusions after I state some information. After reading Nilox's Post on "Brutal Nausea Every Morning" I've realize how similar these symptoms are with cannabis hyperemesis syndrome a drug directly related with marijuana.
I'm one of the few people who has been through this exact same thing. At the age of 19 I started heavy use of marijuana, I smoked all day long and was high for weeks. After continuing this routine for several months I developed terrible vomiting problems which at first weren't bad because it was like being sick, but you never feel sick. You just feel like you have to vomit ALL THE TIME.
At first you don't have this feeling it starts off as a very light feeling of vomiting which for some people can be resisted, but if you continue to use marijuana it will become worse and worse. I reached the point were I would have the urge to vomit all the time and got little to no sleep laying on the bathroom floor just to be close to the toilet. I was in trouble, I didn't know what to do because I didn't know it was from marijuana. I smoked and I smoked never knowing it was the marijuana. I ended up in the hospital because of this ordeal. My throat was scarred with the burns from the acid in my stomach and all my vomit was brown which I assume was dried blood up to this point.
What I went through,
I was 19 years of age at at the time It started and continued till I was 20, I'm now in full control of this sickness.
I was dehydrated with several other low vitals. The doctors found nothing wrong with me at all besides those things. They simply told me not to smoke marijuana anymore ( I did not lie when the doctors asked me if I smoked marijuana for they are only there to help) and it could be the reason for your problems. I saw this as an medical ignorance at the time because they never told me specifically why the marijuana did this, but only that it did. I listened to the doctors and stopped.
Believe it or not, the symptoms went away. It took about two weeks to fully recover (During this time you will go through all the stages of addiction withdrawal such as; sweats, prone to getting cold, loss of appetite, and mood swings). I had to eat anything I could (Jello, soups, small amounts of mac and cheese, light things), everything had become tasteless and the only thing I could think about was being able to drink an ice cold glass of water again (My throat was so scarred from the experience I even had visible acid burns on my tongue).
Those who are afflicted,
The first thing I'd like to discuss is if your already suffering, if you have sever vomiting and smoke marijuana it is time to act. You must not wait any longer or you are only digging a hole you won't want to crawl out of later. I first recommend you reduce your marijuana intake, whatever you do don't stop completely. This will be very hard, but you have to start now (if you smoke 4 joints a day, smoke 2. If you smoke 2, smoke 1 when your symptoms are the worst. This is not meant to be a specific instructions only guidelines). You cannot wait, if it is so terrible that you can't control anything you do you need to seek help immediately, if you dehydrate and pass out and their is no one is around to help you. What will you do then, nothing. Besides lay there passed out...
The first time you reach this stage it isn't your fault. Whether your friends told you "nothing bad can come of smoking marijuana" or you feel like it isn't the cause of your problems, I felt the same away, but you're wrong. It is causing problems for some people and you could be one of those people, don't wait and act now. Don't be discourage by what people say either. Like "You did this to yourself" or "You deserve this". You're not a monster. You're human. Don't live in the past, learn from it!
Once you begin to reduce your intake you will notice some mood changes, body temperature changes, cravings, Huge loss of appetite, diarrhea, and chest pains, you may also notice a strange feeling. I feel the best way to describe this as; If you have ever ran so hard that you were out of breath, then you get a different almost dry feeling which feels to be present somewhere in your chest, but not specifically your lungs and for myself I noticed an irregularity in breathing (As if breathing only made things worse along with talking), but if you continue smoke marijuana all the time this feeling won't ever go away and will get worse and worse.
Users who aren't as far into the sickness and only developed these symptoms a week or two ago (Meaning if you have a yearn to vomit, irregularity sleeping habits, trouble passing stools, or minor vomiting) you need not worry, but you need to stop for at least 2-3 days (You will notice you become more prone to getting cold at this time) I would recommend a whole week if you want to feel good as new.
Minor relief in individuals who aren't as far along and maybe for those who are. I used Tums, and Pepto-Bismol. Those wishing to use Pepto and are having trouble swallowing for any particular reason. If you can get it down, you'll probably be ok. I found once I got it down it wasn't so bad.
Discovering the Sickness,
This next part is where a couple people might become a little upset or turn their head.
After this whole experience I was not ready to just dismiss everything that had happen so quickly. I sobered up for a month and thin decided to take a personal interest in this whole "cannabis hyperemesis syndrome".
I started to smoke again, but this time I knew all I needed to know (well to prevent it from getting out of hand). From my experience and internet research I will explain how exactly I continued to smoke and how it can become a problem.
One thing I need to make very very clear, for anyone who thinks marijuana is the harmless drug that is doable without any repercussions, you are wrong, but you are right.
I've been studying and talked with other marijuana users who don't suffer cannabis hyperemesis syndrome and to be honest they're just very lucky, but don't let your addiction become ignorance. I won't expand much further on people who don't get cannabis hyperemesis syndrome.
I tested the maximum amount of time I could go before reaching a "light" compulsive urge to vomit and I went a little less than two weeks before reaching this point. At this time I smoked about 3 joints a day along with occasional use of a bong and water pipe.
There is quite the debate on whether or not this whole sickness is associated with the instrument you use, but I didn't smoke joints till after my hospitalization. I used mainly a bong, along with a water pipe towards the end "before" my hospitalization each instrument was cleaned once a weak by meaning of boiling water. Let sit, rinse, repeat until all residue has disappeared.
My current health standing is great, I've not experienced any problems since my critical sickness (Hospitalization). Besides for my first self induced sickness.
My marijuana conclusion,
My overall review and summary of marijuana, this drug is not to be used chronically or Weekly, this however is not applicable to people using marijuana for medical purposes or those who don't suffer from cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, but I wouldn't rule it out if you suffer from these symptoms as of now, for I'm only trying to assist you by providing information I wish I had at the time.
I'm not against the use of marijuana, I believe it should be allowed as a occasional celebratory recreational drug. I've never encountered a problem using this once for celebration. (Not having previously smoked consecutively up to the point of celebration).
Marijuana is not a bad drug nor does it cause you to do anything stupid, marijuana is not alcohol, Unless you consume a large quantity of marijuana in a small amount of time without having already developed a tolerance (Meaning you've been consecutively/Occasionally smoking up to this point) you will not need a lot of marijuana to get high, and even if you do consume a large quantity. I don't know of any horrible repercussion that can occur. Usually people reach a point where they will tell you they've had enough. You will probably not want to even attempt to do anything and you will eventually have an irresistible want to fall asleep in about thirty minutes to an hour. After which you might wake up feeling a bit different, but that should wear off in a couple hours and it is not a bad feeling, just a feeling of unbalance.
I would also like to state through personal experience that marijuana in my opinion is the "bored" drug. Every time I smoke it's usually to make something boring more interesting.
P.S. I don't continue to mention my internet research because it is the vast collection of articles read and blogs reviewed.

Dear Niloxs,
The most significant thing that jumped out at me was the description of the stool. Check out

Perhaps, this may give your doctor a little something to go on, as well.

Nausea every morning for 15 years. Ruining my life also. Tried several of the same remedies I have just read about. Had gallbladder sx, no relief. So hard to get up and try to go to work. Would love to wake up in the morning feeling good. Will try some of the remedies I have just read about. Let you know if they work.
my 12 year old son has been having diarriah and vomiting every morning. throwing up 2 to 3 times. he has missed a lot of school. hasnt gone to school in 4 weeks. been going through these blogs and writing everything down to come with the best thing to start with. he has said when this started was about 2 days after we got him a dog for christmas. he did have antibiotics for a nasal infection, that hasnt helped. He said he wasnt stressed about school. but on saturdays he usually doesnt have this problem. so I questioned him more about stress at school. he finally said he is stressed at school. So now I have more to go on. I will start with the stress idea and see what happens. has anyone heard of a problem with a dog causing this. we've had 2 cats for 2 years and nothing associated with them.
I finally ended up in hospital with more symptoms than the awful nausea but eventually ended up with the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. I'm not sure if the nausea is coming from that or another condition called gastroparesis. It is probably from the GP. My life is hell now because of it. The motility of my stomach all the way to the other end of the digestive tract simply does not move. When this happens anything in my stomach sits and grows bacteria. Any raw veggies are a nono. Anything that smells while cooked will not be good to eat. There are support groups for motility disordered people.
I'm not sure if this is the same thing as so many others are writing about but it is what is wrong with me. Good luck
Hi I read your story and I have a lot of stomache problems, it sounds to me like you had it right when you said the good bacteria was killed in your intestines, you need probiotics, that will help restore them. Anytime you take antibiotics thsi will happen and wont get better unless you take a probiotic I recommend acidophilus. Try it for 2 weeks and see what happens. good luck
Same with cocaine mate. Nausea goes away in the morning can´t figure out why either. Also heavy pot smoker myself.
Have they checked you for HPylori? sounds like that to me....
