my son has a small round bump above a tooth on his gum but says that tooth does not hurt should I be worried?

Hi,

It is probably nothing and since it doesn’t hurt maybe it would be best to ignore it and wait to pass on its own. Most of these bumps usually go on their own even when they are more severe than just one bump on the gums. For example mouth ulcers which occur like white or clear bumps in the mouth are usually condition which lasts for about 14 days and it doesn’t matter if you treat it or not.

If this bump remains in your son’s mouth after 14 days than see with your pediatrician is there need to see the dentist or maybe ENT doctor. Anyway I hope that by now you have resolved this problem and that it wasn’t anything serious.
