My doctor had no idea either. I had a heart attack 4 months ago. Had stent put in. I thought my vibration was medications. Well, that is not it. Every one says stress. At least we are not alone.

Same here. I am 23, have been hearing and feeling buzzing, gurgling sounds in my right breast. Tried to check for a cause online, but thankfully I found this forum. I can see many of you are facing this problem. I think we should see a doc and clear out these worries. It's taking a toll on my work. Not able to concentrate in my studies.

I have stumbled upon this site and am suffering from an off on buzzing sensation in my left breast too. About 6 months ago I was experiencing the same sensation in the anus and my superb osteopath diagnosed 'NERVE FASCICULATION' which certainly did put my mind at rest and following on from a treatment to remove the compression on said nerve I have never had it again! I am making an appt. to see him as I do believe that the feeling i'm now experiencing in my breast is identical and can be treated osteopathically. My advice to everyone is to get a good osteopath.

I to stumbled upon this site the other day.  I  have been having the same buzzing under my right breast and also thought it was my cell phone for about 6 months but maybe only once a month so it took me awhile to figure out something was really happening.  Then Monday it happened about 6 times within 30 minutes.  I did call my family doctor and I will be going in tomorrow.  Alot of people said they were going to go to their doctor but no one has said what ever happened.  I will let everyone know Monday.

It's anxiety.  I've been through multiple test and thousands of dollars to figure this out.  I believe this because the only times I get this buzzin sensation in my chest is when I have been under unusually high amounts of stress.  I was convinced that I wasn't under stress when these first started occuring but I really was.  It all started with a quick heart flutter 5 years ago, this lead to cardioneurosis (basically I thought I had a heart condition that I don't have).  All the worry about what caused one simple skipped beat of the heart threw me into a tailspin of anxiety symptoms.  That simple worry of the heart, being a new mom, working full time, trying to care for my family and home, worrying about illness of a few of my loved ones.....all these things really were stress that I thought I was handling.....turns out I wasn't.  I was initially treated with Valium, then Lexapro with Xanax as needed.  These meds were a helpful tool to get my anxiety under control, but not the long term answers I needed.  With some tweaks to my diet, exercise, and learning to deal with stress, I now have my anxiety and all of it's evil, sneaky symptoms under control without the help of any medications.  So just evaluate your situation.  If you're like me, get the proper tests done for proof.  But when your doctor says everything checks out normal, believe them!  Good Luck....it's a tough road but it does get better!  God Bless!

Have you find out the cause of it? I've just got this same vibration for the last couple days, I am thinking it might be over work muscle, were you in a working out phrase at the time?

Same chest sensation i'm feeling too like cell phone vibration or feeling little eletric ground sensation (few seconds per episode) that extends to my right arm and right leg down to right foot which happens frequently while walking or at rest. I'm observing it for the last 2 weeks, no chest pain or discomfort, it just annoying most of the time. Anyone can relate? Please advise

I too have had this vibrating/buzzing sensation.  It had been going on for about a year.  It got so bad at the end, that I would wake up in the middle of the night with the buzzing, usually in my chest and down my arms.  I checked online to see if anyone else had experienced this, and I was surprised to see that so many people described it the same way.  It is usually worse when I lay on my left side, and it got so bad that I just wanted to jump out of bed.  The only difference that I noticed in my symptom that no one else says, is that my would seem rhythmic.  It would be a buzz, buzz, buzz, and then a pause.  It was almost always like this.  I thought for this reason it was in my heart, or blood circulation.  And, furthermore, because of the pause( where I would not feel any buzzing), I knew that I was not imagining this feeling.  I had a colonoscoopy about 3 months ago and I had to stop taking my cumidin for a week.  My buzzing had gotten to the worse it had ever been, and I was losing sleep and goin crazy.  Since I was off one of my meds, I decided to stop taking my thyroid medicine.  I was on 88 mcg of Levothyroxine.  I stopped for one week, and by the end of the week, I barely had any buzzing, and didn't wake up through the night.  I even remember waking up, and feeling nothing.  What a blessing.  I called my doctor and told her my findings.  She told me to get back on my meds, that this was not a symptom of this med, but maybe my underactive thyroid med needed to be altered.  She ran blood tests and said to stay on my meds.  I refused.  I told her to find an alternative or I would go somewhere else.  She prescribed armour thyroid for me, a natural pig thyroid.  I have been on it for 2 months and I feel a little buzzing through out the day, but very rarely wake up at night.  I don't know if I am on the right track, but I couldn't deal with it any longer.  I am glad to have a little relief.  I have to go back and get tested to make sure my thyroid levels are good.  Any one who had this buzzing have thyroid issues, or is on the same meds as I was?

Mine started 1/29/2015 - I read through all of the comments hoping someone would have an answer from a doctor, but everyone who said they would write back apparently forgot. So I guess we're on our own to find out from our doctors what the issue is. I am a Christian, so I will be praying as others have done, but its good to know that there are others out there who have also experienced the same thing. I just hope everyone is okay!

I was a 47 yr.old female, out of shape, could lose a few pounds, but no other real health problems. I then began experiencing the internal cell-phone buzzing sensation. It was so weird! Could find no answers online. Doctor totally discounted it. After several months of this, I experienced a few episodes of gripping tightness in my chest. It felt so much like my heart, that each time, I took myself to the ER! Heart tests were all fine and I was released. A later treadmill test was fine, too. The mystery continued. Over the next months, I began having something like heartburn...it got more difficult to eat. The doctor told me to take Omiprozal (Sp?) It did nothing for me. The coctors acted like it was all in my mind. I lost some weight due to my unusual lack of appetite. I even had to sleep sitting up! They finally gave me an endoscopy...I was sure, based on my readings, it must be a 'flap' problem...but all looked fine in the endoscopy. It took months to get an abdominal ultrasound. Well folks, the buzzing was more regular and I was eating less and less. A few days before I was to get my ultrasound, guess what? I passed some gallstones! It was totally unexpected, was excruciatingly painful...like having knives stabbed in my back. BUT...after the gall stone passed (aside from some temporary rectal bleeding that followed) I was NORMAL AGAIN. Could eat normally. Could sleep flat again. Never had another 'cell phone' vibration or buzz! It's been two years. Ladies, try getting your gallbladders checked! Blessings, Ingrid
