Amanda...honestly I say take Alli and follow what it as it says. For your constipation...start getting more Fiber in your diet and eat organic yogurt or Activia.

You can loose a significant amount of weight if u stick to a healthy diet and work your butt off literally!! 6 days a week take a break on Sundays! Do 2 miles of running each day if you cant run jog and if its hard to jog do a combination of all walking jogging and running really push yourself even if you could only run your hardest for a min out of the 2 miles do it you want your amount of jogging and running to be equal or more than the amount of walking!! Sweat Sweat Sweat!!! Drink atleast 8 bottles of water a day the more water you drink the faster it will be that you start seeing results!! keep your sodium intake low!!! always read the nutrition label on every food item you purchase!!! No more fast food stops!!!! Look for foods low in carbs high in protein high in fiber whole grain breads and rice as well as any other food you like just get whole grain!!! (you could find healthy yummy recipes and good food choices just by asking your search engine.. ask, google etc...)  you always keep an eye on sugar content!!! no sweets no cokes no chips or greasy food cook with olive oil!!! eat as much of your favorite veggies with light dressing or olive oil if you crave something sweet make a fruit smoothie with all your favorite fruits and everytime you feel like giving up think about that one cute boy you like or just even being able to look at yourself in the mirror and smile!!! If u want it as bad as you say you do stick to these recommendations and you will be fit and healthy in no time!!
 
P.S. Get a digital scale and weigh yourself 7 days right when you get up and before you consume any liquids or food you might not see significant progress but you will and even if its 1 or 2 pounds you will start loosing more and more never get discouraged and always believe!!

So, I have asthma really bad. The doctor told me it's an excersizing asthma. I didn't knot there actually was such a thing, but, I'm wanting to loose weight really bad. I eat healthy as I can, fruits like apples, grapes, bananas things like that and also vegetables, is there any exsersizes that would help me loose weight without like... Dying from not being able to breath as well... Please help.

I am 5'4 and weigh 170 pounds and I took 2 ex lax everyday for 7 dad and ate only honey but Cheerios and water and lost ten pounds, I kept doing it and one night my stomach was hurting so so bad, I actually puled up my feces.... It is nott good for u. I ruined my intestines and now have krohns disease. Please be careful. Try a 7 day colon cleanse called love my colon, it is amazing and helps u lose a little weight fast. Drink only water ( also helps with pimples) and only healthy food like salads an bananas

yes you can let them go hun, just like anything, it's hard but recovery is possible!! you have to start eating A LOT of fiber and slowly take less and less laxatives. they deplete your body of all nutrients and mess up your electolytes so much. the sooner you quit the better. this can result in much worse results such as CARDIAC ARREST than dealing with a bloated tummy and constipation for a little while. you see how much you regret having started taking? you'll regret even more having not stopped sooner and realizing how much your body's health status really is in your hands.

This is kind of a naive response to the struggle of going through recovery from an eating disorder/body dysmorphic addiction. I am a purging anorexic and I went to rehab and got help and was recovered for a really long time and then i relapsed. most girls who were in rehab with me relapsed too. it is not something that is by any measure easy to let go of. I know the risks to my body and I know that I am slowly killing myself but i am just too reliant on throwing up anytime I accidentally allow myself to eat too much and disobey my food rules. These are both addictions that are related to psychological problems and these vices are a coping mechanism for dealing with that. teaching someone about all the scary health conseqences is not going to help you kick the habit in the long run. you won't be able to get rid of the problem until you deal with the larger emotional and psychological causes first.

One word.... ZUMBA Trust me it works and it gives you energy and makes you happy. You dont even need their music just pop in your favorite song and dance. The faster you lose weight the faster you gain it back. If you want to lose 15 lbs in a month go vegetarian replace meat with soy enjoy

Hey Janeta i do know a healthy pill you can take that helped me. Its called Internal Flush it comes in a box and u can get it at walmart in the pharmacy section. It has all natural ingredients, it works the way Metamucil would but you dont have to take as many. i took one 3 times a day and it helped me so much. The problem is that once you have lost weight you have to be very careful NOT to eat the way you did before to make you gain weight. Once you have lost the weight try taking meal supplement beverages(you can buy the formula for it) have those in the morning. Then have 2 eggs and maybe toast for lunch(eggs are so good for you) and lower your portions for dinner. At first you will still be hungry but you eventually your stomach will shrink so you will not eat as much. I hope this helps you.

I just want to point out that when used when needed and how they are supposed to be taken, they WILL NOT HURT YOU. Just dont abuse them. Mkay. And yes, if you need to take them because YOUR DOCTOR SAID SO, you will lose a bit of weight, but only a few pounds of sh*t. (Pun intended.)

I know you wrote this a long time ago, but i really just want to thank you. ive seriously been considering laxatives recently, although im not overweight, i just wanted to lose some weight. but this really did give me a change of heart, you really have opened my eyes up! i had no idea about the side effects! so i just wanted to thank you for writing this and also so you know it was worth it :)

I was using laxatives for just two weeks...TWO WEEKS! One night I started having stomach pains, and my bowel movements were pitch black.

This really scared me so I googled it. I found out that this black feces iwas actually blood, somewhere in my body I was bleeding because of the laxatives. I got really scared and I realized that I just need to start eating healthy and working out. Even after I got off the laxatives, it took a long time to have a healthy movement again.  
I bought flax seeds and I put them in almost everything I eat, I also eat prunes and drink about 2 cups of green tea a day. 

I hate exercising so I just started going for daily walks, about 40 minutes long. I took my dog along or a walking buddy. The fresh air and exercise got me feeling great about myself and I lost the 10 lbs that I was trying to lose. It did take two months, but the thing is.....It stayed off.
When I did the lose weight fast diets I would always gain the weight back! 

I am glad I had that wake up call with laxatives. It was really scary, I immediately flushed all of them down the toilet.

Food is good, we're supposed to eat it!

hi there i was wondering if the laxative pills for conctepation can make u lose weight or vomit? are they the same or do u have to get differnt ones
