Same thing is happening to me as I type ! leg pains and joint pain. Since I'm replying late, what happened after? Did it eventually come? Did she turn out to be pregnant? Also, I'm having cramps.

The strangest thing is that this thread is the only topic on the internet about this issue!
I am 29.. I smoked for 2 months (1 or 2 cigs a day) and stopped with no complications/ side effects at all.
I started again for 3.5 years (1.5 packs a week) and quit cold turkey a month from now, the day I quit was the 5th day of my period.
before smoking, my cycle was 28 days, like clock work, never missed a period. But during smoking, my cycles where shorter (24 to 26 days). My first period after quitting was 1 week late (assuming my cycle is 25 days). started spotting on the 33rd day of the cycle. I guess what helped is that I have been drinking boiled cinnamon and ginger for more than 5 days
in general, after quitting, I have been in stressful situations. The first week I had diarrhea, and insomnia. continuous headache and severe joints pain in my knees for the whole first 2 weeks, even voltarin shots didn't help and I cried like a baby.. The 3rd week I had constipation, 4th week I had cramps, back pain and acne!!!
I don't know if anyone is reading but will keep u posted for any updates,, thanks for all the ladies who participated ;-)

I am so relieved of what that post said. I quit smoking pot 2 1/2 weeks ago now and my period was 9 days late. I was so scared of being pregnant. I'm never having s3x again. At least not until in 18

I'm 22 and had smoked for 7 years. After I had been quit for a month I actually got my period 7 days EARLY and it was way lighter than normal. Im pretty irregular but i typically have my period for around 5 days and it's normal/kinda heavy. This one lasted 3 days and I only needed to use panty liners it was so light. Im not on BC and i am not pregnant. So quitting can affect it either way, late or early. I guess we'll see how the next one is.

I quit smoking after 15 years and did not have a period for 6 months! I knew I could not be pregnant because my husband has had a vasectomy but then I thought maybe something had gone wrong with his procedure! Ha! Finally I started and now my cycle is back to normal.. Nicotine is highly addictive and once you cease the intake it can have all sorts of side effects..But in the end your body will thank you.. Hope this helps!

Thank you for this posting. I quit smoking two months ago and thought I was pregnant. I took two preg tests, both were negative. My lower back is killing me so I'm hoping it's due to cramps. I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow to get checked out. I'm not telling her I smoked spice, I'm too ashamed. Your post gave me hope that soon I will be getting my menstrual.. please ladies quit smoking that poison, the long term affects can be serious or even deadly if you get a wrong batch.. take care...
