What can I do with the cancer sores in my mouth? They are not large but they are painful. This is not first time I have cancer sores in my mouth, but this time is worse. I don’t know what I can to prevent cancer sores from occurring. Last time they went away by it self.
Canker sores usually go away without any treatment, but for pain relief, you can try taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Medicines such as Anbesol, Oragel, Orabase and Zilactin-B, might keep your canker sores from becoming irritated by eating, drinking or brushing your teeth and you can put them right on the sore. Unfortunately, doctors don't know of anything that prevents canker sores from forming. Using toothpaste that does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate and other irritating ingredients avoiding hard, crunchy or spicy foods and chewing gum may help reduce mouth irritation.
I have canker sores popping up all over my mouth, I'm told that this can be caused by stress.
As none of my eating habits have changed or anything, I'm not sure how to treat these. Any help, guys and girls?
