Can my 1 year chihuahua drink milk? He is an apple head and was the runt of the litter. Since then he has gotten alot bigger (tall). thanks
Hi there, a Chihuahua can have milk but I would not give milk to a dog. They usually suffer from diarrhea for it and you will have a hard time of cleaning that up. Why do you want to give him milk?

Our Vet says not to give cats or dogs milk at all. Cartoon strips show cats lapping milk from a saucer, but you really shouldn't offer it. And milk can give dogs worms if given on a regular basis. Besides that if your furry friends get to used to milk, they will refuse their water.
That and, again, the diarrhea. It is just awful. I had a Chihuahua once and it really hits the poor things hard. Don't even bother if you want my opinion!
I set my milk on my night stand and left the room for a couple minutes and he was gulping it down when I returned. I hope I he will be o.k.
