hi, i had my tonsil removed on Nov 6,08. i was brushing my teeth this morning i collapsed and fainted. is this normal? good thing i have my friend with me in the washroom. can i eat first before i take tylenol 3? what is that smelly thing and taste weird in my mouth. is this all normal?
it possible that you were weak from not enough food and / or water and that's why you fainted? I felt like that today, didn't actually faint though.
I don't know about your meds question, but I do have that horrible taste and smell happening. It's so bad!

I am 13 days post op I have stopped taking the pain killers but kept taking the anti-inflammatory tablets.
I stayed in bed for the first 9 days and everytime I got out of bed I felt dizzy but did not actually faint. Your fainting was probaly caused by what the previous guest had said lack of food. hydration, medication and resting.
The horrible taste I also have still and I am really councious of my breath smelling too. I still can't stand the taste of my favourite foods mainly milk based products and sauces. Hope it comes back soon. Take Care
