Hello,
This story is quite absurd, but I swear it's true and now I'm getting a bit worried. I'm a 24 male and when I was like 12-13 It happened that I inserted a little stick (less than half cm wide but like 8-9cm long, not sharpened) in my ass but it got sucked inside. I wasn't able to make it exit on the moment and I don't really know if during those years it could have exited on his own.
The problem is that now, after like 10-15 years, I'm having some issues that I can relate to this episode and I'm worried that if this object is still there, it could have caused some sort of cancer-like condition.
I'll be brief: I excessively sweat from the butt and anal area (noticed this like a year ago), I've been having some white scabs on scalp and ears, not painful but consistent, since 3 months or so, and during those months I had some other issues like abnormal anal and surrounding area itchhing, sense of weight on the perineus at night and last month also got some abdominal issues like random non intense pains (more like a pressure sensation located on the right and left, alternating, part of lower abdomen), nausea, lack of appetite (and linked to this some weight loss), liquid stool (not everyday but more often than normal), feeling of food not going down trough esophagus (like a throat knot that sometimes still happens) and bloating/fullness sensation, lasting for 10 days or so.
I'm having no symptoms since like a week or so (excluding anal sweating and scabs), but when I'm in bed I feel my abdomen super hard, right under the rectus abdominals (it does not appear hard on the sides, only under the "6pack") like I'm flexing the abs but there should be no muscle tension at all since I'm laying supine. No tension at all on other areas, like it should be, but right under the rectus abdominals I can feel rock hard, and I mean really hard. Also after pressure I get some sort of little pain for some minutes
I'm really worried that the retention of this object in all those years could have lead to some sort of cancer, also because I read some scientific literature about those issues that could be linked with colon/rectumn cancer (skin conditions like scalps and abdominal issues).
On the other hand it's difficult to say if it could be really a cancer since another explaination was a really drastic change in lifestyle due to a little shoulder injury + lockdown combo that changed my daily routine from 15-20k steps daily, training 4x week and physical job into a 70-80% of time spent sitting in front of pc. This happened in the same period I started to feel those symptoms (first symptoms of itching happened 2-3 weeks into this sedentary lifestyle), and the abdominal related ones started after 2 months of severe inactivity, movement deprivation, poor sleep quality and excessive eating (I still ate the same rough amount of kcal I was used to before lockdown and injury even if i wasn't definitely using them).
I never had severe abdominal pains, vomiting or blood in the stool (even if sometimes I can see some undigested-like food especially greens) that are usually related to severe issues but I don't really know what to do. I still live with parents and I'd really love to avoid talking about this episode, but on the other hand I'm worried of a severe condition like cancer that could go on if I don't seek medical help.
Is there any simple/cheap exam I can have that can offer me a better understanding of what's going on? I'm just overly concerned and potentially feeding those abdominal symptoms with my paranoia or anxiety (even if I'm not an anxious person on my own). I talked about abdominal issues with my family since when I got nausea and lack of apetite I got a little worried and they said it could be some colitis due to inactivity, overeating and stress of being at home everyday not working not studying, but my knowledge is limited and I don't really know what to do/think.
Thanks in advance for your time,
Max
