So one of my coworkers came up to me and asked if i wanted to join in on a company sponsored running team. The company i work for is sponsoring the local marathon - Marathon By the Sea. It is part of the provincial championships this year.

My company owns an RV that has our company logo on it and we'l;l be able to travel around the province while putting our company name out there as well as taking part in local runs.

I am so excited! It will give me more incentive to run more and run better. These guys i'll be running with run a 3:00 - 3:16 marathon. I'm honored that they even asked me to join them. I will learn tonnes!

:wiggle:
tis excellent .

maybe they just wanted to get you in the RV :P

so you all run a marathon? not like a relay thing?

will there be matching running gear? <-- that's always the highlight.

we will all go to some of the same runs, chose what ever portion we want to do. I think the most I would do is a half now that I have done my first full... and yes all matching gear.
Very cool

BTW i wanted to add that it is way cool that they think of you for something like that. I remember the Hospital in Va asked me to be part of their running race team too. it was for Marathons and i had to turn them down due to my knee. but i thought it was major cool that i was thought of in that category.

you enjoy, have fun and kick some Canuk keister girlie.
