I get the palpitations 24/7 as well, which is the reason Im here. LOTS of good information on this board, especially the info on supplements, thanks so much everyone!!! If you have the means, get your heart workup done. It helps so much to know the truth. Ive tried a LOT of things to get through panic, but this one helped the most... We naturally try to AVOID this awful feeling, but thats what I believe makes it worse... Look on youtube for a video called How To Stop a Panic Attack by Teal Swan. She also has a video called How to Get Rid of Anxiety (A Natural Cure for Anxiety).

I think that that heart palpitations will have more effects on anxiety, insomnia and mental stability. I would not worry about it doing damage to the heart.

Hello Ladies, i am 39 years old and i have been having this palpitaions may be over a little over 2 years. I am a new graduate with my BSN and I noticed this heart skips while in nursing school and did not pay much attention because it seldomly happened. But, recently, it has been happening a lot or I get this sinking feeling in my stomach...just about every 1-2 seconds, i feel it to a point where i cough. I have never had any anxiety issues. I have gone to see my doctor and he referred me to a cardiologist who did the stress test and echogram, still nothing. He told me my heart is fine; no Afib nor V tach. Although, I drink a lot of water and exercise 30 mins x 3/ week and eats healthy, i still feel like there is something going on. I work nights and drink coffee, also i drink alcohol may be onece every 2 weeks. I have stopped drinking coffee and still feels it. I have been wearing the halter monitor for 10 days now and still have about 11 or days to go...I am tired of pushing the button just about every second. I will try meditation and hopefully, it helps. I am so worried.
