Ive been suffering so long now with raw throat, tried prilosec, dexalint, no help, still on singular and zantac 300 per day, still no relief, just came off medol dose pk, still here, hurts to talk, tussinex is not much help either, i think they have tried everything, gargle salt water, ear ache, im sooooo miserable i just want to scream

Do you still have throat pain? I believe I know how to cure it. I suffered for 18 months and eventually cured myself simply by taking pro biotics. You'd be surprised how many problems that unbalanced gut flora can cause. Good luck.

I've had a throats infection (according to gp's) for about 2 months now, been on 2 different types of anti biotics. The comment above makes sense to me, because my neighbour has the same thing. We've just had road work right out the front of our place for the last 10months and now two house renovation on either side of us... question is I can't avoid going outside how do I get over this?

I got a virus in 11/15 and I so bad I couldnt walk or see straight. SInce have been sick on and off, fatigued etc. I have been to doc several times Tested for everything under the sun even lungs scanned for cancer. No diagnoses just antibiotics when the congestion gets so bad it turns into an infection. I have had 6 blood draws stagnated out including a full cbc. Its beyond frusratig but also scary

I have also had a sore throat 2 months now and now left jaw sore I seen doctor a few weeks ago and said one of my tonsils a bit swollen I see him in few weeks I'm scared of what it is has any of you gotton better as these messages have been over a year ago

hope you are well by now, as a teen, one always thinks about mononucleosis. or some atypical germs that don't respond to augmentin, and may need Zpak instead. its most likely not serious but it should not be ignored. switch docs if one doesn't seem to care. keep complaining until you get well. good luck. I'm an RN but not a doc. keep at it.
