I have the same exact problem.. about a year ago i had a UTI, but they my Dr. thought i had bpth UTI and bladder infections so he treated me for a UTI. I am now experiencing the same sypmtoms except i do not have pain. it does not hurt when i do go to the bathroom, im very gassy and the symptoms come and go.. (No im not pregnant) when i have the symptoms i have to sit in a chair and i have to sleep in a chair i can not lay flat bc the feeling of having to "go" is very strong. my doctors do not know what it is. but im tired of feeling like this.. when i have the symptoms. i drink lots of Grape fruit juice and cranberry juice that usually makes the symptoms stop.

That's why the doctor gave you as many antibiotics as he/she did...there is a reason. You should NEVER stop taking antibiotics before they run out unless instructed by your doctor. Even if your symptoms feel like they're gone, the infection/bacteria will stick around.

I feel the same way if i am at work or going on a trip anywhere i worry for a while if i will be able to find a bathroom and then i begin to feel like i got to piss all the time. it is worse at work and when i am sitting in a car for a long time i have tried axiety meds and that doesnt do it i think it is from all the stress with college starting soon and i dont have a job and dont know anything about how i am paying for it. Also if i am driving some where it helps to stop at a gas station before i leave and then pee and then turn up the music or eat when i am driving then i dont feel it. I think it is all in my head but i need to find a way to heal this now. I am 18 years old this has been happening for about 6 months driving me crazy. ****PLEASE HELP****

It could also mean you have kidney stones. A symptom of kidney stones is frequent urge to urinate, and I doesn't not have to be accompanied by pain. Currently, I pee every 5 minutes with just a few drops due to the amount of stones I have. Doctors thought I had frequent UTI's for years until I landed up in the hospital from the flank pain. Bottom line: if anything about your body does not function in a way you'd deem normal, or inhibits you from living your life, always see a doctor. You might have to try different specialists, but it's worth it if it makes you feel better.

I've had a similar problem for about a year now.

I can't even sit through a 40 minute program without needing a wee at least twice. When i go as soon as i stand up it feels like i need to go again! Needing a wee is always in the back of my mind because the feeling never really goes away and it's starting to effect me. It's strange that i'm only really effected badly when i'm in an environment that i'm comfortable in. I can easily go 6 hours at work without a wee, but at home can't go 20 mins.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with me being worried or scared that i might wee myself or an actual medical problem. When i go to the toilet, i have the feeling on my bladder when i push that it hurts and is full even 5 minutes later. I have to get up in the night at least twice and i force myself to go for a 'last wee' on a night so that my body feels like it doesnt have to go again and i can get to sleep.

I just wish i knew what was wrong because it's dirving me crazy and making other people around me stressed out.

I have one question. Does your pain come and go? I have all of these symptoms however they happen only every once in awhile. Last year it happened for a week straight while last Saturday it was only for that day and it's been giving me little pains if I stretch too much. It hurts up to my belly button and I cannot stand up or sit down too fast.

Thank you for the information. I am getting up 3X in the night, and have extreme fatigue. No infection. Problem gets better, gets worse, but never really goes away. No one seems to have a clue, except maybe it's age. (I am 77) Does that mean I have to spend the rest of my life this way? I will follow up, and read the book you recommend. Again, thank you.

I am between 1-2 months pregnant, and I have the urge to pee every 5 minutes, but nothing comes out except maybe 2 drops of urine. Does it pose a problem for my pregnancy?
