I'm 19 years old and have 2 external hemmorrhoids and have decided to get hemmorrhoidectomy. I figured i would rather deal with 2 weeks of pain rather than live with these little (understatement) bastards. My question is laser or traditional surgery and any helpful advice pre and post op would be appreciated.
hi mdp23
i have seen girls recovering from hemmorrhoidectomy via laser smoothly [not that pain issued with traditional removal] .. i think people still take the traditional method since its cheaper and in your case if pain bothers you then go with laser :-) ..
i can surely tell that post operation i advise you if you were taking those spicy foods to stop taking them...
go with whole grain containing food and lots of fluids intake and vegetables .
NB: if you want to go with traditional , you can tell your doctor to prescribe some medication for the pain relief .
