What you said sounds like your telling what's going on with me. The exact same thing you are going through. I had extreme pain before my Hip Replacement.

Have you gotten any relief? I had a total right hip replacement in September and I am 44 years old.
I was going to physical therapy twice a week and doing really well and then my psoas muscle became severely inflamed. The pain is excruciating and I walk with a horrible limp and pain has radiated throughout my entire leg.
Up until a month ago, I was doing so well with thoughts of going back to work and begin exercising some.
I have a follow up next week with my surgeon and am doing the minimal because of pain.

Just wondering how you are feeling now and what I can do to feel better.

I am 44 and had the same thing and now going through the same pain; however, I have not returned to work three months after surgery. I used to be very active...walking and running 7-11 miles a day and now cannot exercise at all without excruciating pain. I have gained 35 pounds since surgery and the pain is overwhelming at times.
No one in my immediate close circle understands the pain I am in and why I sleep or rest 12+ hours a day. I feel as though my life is passing before me and I feel absolutely horrible

I had a THR on November 22, 2017. I was doing great walking without the aids within six weeks. Then pain and weakness in my left leg. Tendinitis and bursitis. It is causing weakness and tenderness. I did too much too fast I should have gone a little slower, done more exercise and kept losing weight. Instead I ignored the exercises and ate too much through the holidays...my bad...now I am paying the price. I have started exercising, icing the area down with cold packs and gone back to losing weight. It is so bad I am using a walker..Good is I opened the pool today so in about a week or so I will be in the pool doing exercises several times a day to fix this....pain is in the hip area left outside and runs down to my knee..too much to fast caused this....

I had right hip done in December and I am having same symptoms as you. I am still in PT. I am having problems with scar tissue. My limp is worse now then before surgery. I am so sick of being in pain. Was looking forward to this surgery taking care of it and it has created more issues. I do feel like Noone will listen. I can't imagine living like this. I am 49. I see all these people have this and are pain free and wish mine were the same. I just feel like there is something wrong and Noone wI'll do anything about it. I am so frustrated!

Unfortunately I had an accident four days after my surgery when I got home and had a revision.

I am ten months out and my groin really hurts and burning in my incision. I have gotten stronger through therapy but pain still exists in the groin. I'm seeing my surgeon again but I don't think de knows what wrong. Everything looks good on MRI. Any advice.

I had hip replacement 4 months ago still have pain in groin area and severe pain in my butt area. If I knew this would be the case I would never had the surgery done.

I had hip replacement on my left side, and I am experiencing pain as well. I found muscle rub and Tylenol helps.
