Just as my mensus started, I found a hard lump, not unusual, I get them frequently around mensus, so I made the mistake of pinching it. Nothing came out but, I felt a pop on the other side. Within a day the other side developed 4 hard lumps which grew and quickly filled and swelled. I applied cold, heat, cortesone cream and now, they're draining a fluid that resembles mensus blood toward the end of the period, kinda off browish, slight pus smell, not death like. I continue to let it drain, apply cold witch hazel compresses and change my pad. No pain, no fever. Anything else I should be doing?
I used to get the same thing when i was younger, almost at the same time my period would start. The best thing to do is don't squeeze it. You are doing everything right but you should soak in a tub of warm/hot water. Just watch for a temp or stiffness in your joints. If this happens you would need to see your doctor.

I have one smaller cyst that is draining and doing well. The other cysts are gone. I continue to clean and apply a antibiotic, fresh pad every time i use the bathroom, just like when you are on mensus. No pain, no tenderness, seems the worst part is over. Just recovering and trying not to be too grossed out. I don't know how CNA's and nurses do this sort of thing. I'm a care provider but my consumer doesn't require this kind of care. He's mentally ill with a 5 year old mentality (he's 24), so no dealing with this sort of thing thankfully. Thanks for the reply.
