Hi, guest.

If you have a deformed buttock due to an injury, plastic surgery may be an option to correct the deformity. However, the specific type of plastic surgery needed will depend on the nature and extent of the injury, as well as your individual goals and preferences.

Some possible plastic surgery options for correcting a deformed buttock due to injury include:

1. Fat transfer: Fat transfer involves removing fat from one part of the body, such as the abdomen or thighs, and injecting it into the buttocks to add volume and shape.

2. Butt lift: A butt lift is a surgical procedure that involves removing excess skin and fat from the buttocks and lifting and reshaping the remaining tissue to create a more youthful and toned appearance.

3. Buttock implant surgery: Buttock implant surgery involves placing silicone or saline implants in the buttocks to enhance their size and shape.

It is important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and determine the best course of treatment for your specific needs and goals. They can evaluate your injury and provide recommendations for the most effective and safe treatment options. Additionally, be sure to discuss any potential risks or complications associated with surgery, as well as the recovery process and expected outcomes.

Hello, thank you for this thread. On February 18, 2023, I fell down marble stairs which left a lump and dent on my right buttock. Went to three different doctors and third one was the best. The first told me to allow it to dissolve on its own, the second sent for an ultrasound and told me the same; both suggested plastic surgery if it didn’t dissolve after 6-9 months. I knew it didn’t feel right so i went to another general surgeon. I came equipped with the ultrasound report/disk and he said it was BS after looking at my bruise. He sent me for a CT scan and it reported that i had necrotic fat from the impact and trauma from the fall. I had my surgery yesterday (September 18, 2023). It was outpatient but a pretty serious surgery. I was under general anesthesia, a mass of necrotic fat the size of a large egg was removed and I now have a Jackson Pratt drain so the area of removal doesn’t fill back up with blood. In addition, he ordered a visiting nurse to assist. I’m saying all of this to say, don’t wait for it to dissolve. The sooner you get help the better. I’m in no pain, didn’t have to take the painkillers prescribed. On another note, I had pain in my right groin that I thought was from the gym, soon as the mass was removed. I know longer feel the pain.

All the best to everyone!

Did your dent eventually go away?

I'm so happy that I am not alone. I fell June 5, 2023 in the bathroom. I fell off of a small stool once my kids came in and I got distracted and lost my balance. Not even sure how it happened because it happened so fast. I know I traumatized my girls when I fell but they helped me so much. My mom said it looked like the corner of the stool stabbed me in my butt. It bruised up and became swollen in about 10 minutes and changed color. It became the size of what looked like half and egg but the bruise was a pretty decent size and definitely not a small one. I was super sure so I couldn't stand underwear, the cover, or anything to touch it... plus it hurt to walk and sit on the toilet due to where it was swollen at. This was towards the bottom part of my right butt. I still have the scar. I can feel the dent from I guess where the corner of the stool got me. And I am left with a disfigured butt. You can see the lump through my clothes and I've also noticed that it sticks out a little more and sits lower than the other cheek now and looks lopsided. I've always had a big butt and that was one of the things I loved about myself. I've been super depressed and it has affected my self esteem and confidence tremendously.

Hi!
32yo Female here
I had a similar thing happened on December 27th 2023, it's now Jan 24 2024. I fell down the stairs and hit 3 or 4 steps right on the edge, on my left buttocks. It got swollen immediately and had a massive black bruise that developed the next day across my butt cheek. The swelling is still here roughly 2''x4'' horizontally, and there is a dent right bellow, about the same lenght as if the fat got pushed up by the multiple chock of the edge of the steps.
Everybody told me to just wait it out and that I would go away but it hasn't. The bruise went away after 10 days but the dent and bump stayed the same. I have been massaging using electric massagers and my own hands. I have been using castor oil packs every night to help with blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. During the day I use rock tape to try to keep the bump down. I'm doing my second cupping session next week. I take boswellia and turmeric everyday to help with imflammation. I was gonna exercise my butt more to stimulate blood flow but haven't started yet. I do yoga and focus on the hips and glute stretching every other day.
Sadly no improvement yet.
I'm annoyed everybody just told me to wait and let it be, I could feel it was serious. Regret not going to a doc earlier to get it drained immediately. Makes me feel self conscious as it is visible through pants and skirts. It's painful and sore after sitting for a while or laying on my back. When I do yoga floor poses, it feels like I have a smooth beach rock under my butt that's in the way. It is quite uncomfortable. Freaking out it will never go away despite all efforts.

Hey sis. I'm so glad I found this thread to know I'm not alone in this journey. My accident happened in June 2023 after falling off a stool. My scar is vertical with a dent... Lump.. and it makes my butt look lopsided. It still hurts and I have been massaging it for about a week or so. Went to the doctors today. I thought she would thoroughly check it and feel it. But she didnt. All she did was refer me to a physical therapist. I think may schedule for a dermatologist. I've been super depressed since my accident. You can definitely see mine though my clothes too. I feel like I'll never be able to get dressed up and look cute again because it's visible in whatever I wear

Hi! I'm the one who wrote the message about the stair injury above - I just created an account!
You're not alone and i'm glad the thread is active again. It's been so hard to find similar cases and testimonies. I'll post updates if I have any. I'm thinking of going to a physical therapist to get a first deep myofascial massage and get their opinion on how to massage it best. It's been only a month for me so I'm going to stick to the whole routine and be patient... The electric massager helps soften the whole area before I go deeper with hands + guasha tools.
I've also been taking lots of pics to try to see progress down the line... since it looks like it's gonna be a long process. if nothing changes I'll be saving for a BBL then...
Was feeling so down this morning about this, why didn't I enjoy my figure more before this happened?? now looking back it seems like I was perfectly fine with no bump and no pain and now this dumb injury is plumbing my self esteem and taking so much mental space :(
Good luck to you!!
