Hi, I went through what your going through for 8+months, I also had major pains up my backside like a pulsing pain in my prostate. First blood tests and urine tests showed infection. Took the antibiotics and it came backl. No pain killer worked and in the end the only rhing that gave me relief was sleeping. Then it came back the next day. did every ultrasound, 4 x ct scans, endoscopy and colonoscopy, tried pill after pill. Major pain, then i got sick as i was taking all these antibiotics. I lost about 8kg and life was a misery. It turned out I believe to be my hip and back that was pressing a nerve, Thats why none of the treatments worked, is your hip flexors/hip muscles tight as ? I will bet thats the problem. My 8th Dr suggested it to me and did this adjustment, the burning went away. I still get the pains in my hip but none of the other prostatitis symptoms. I think prostatitis is a term the drs use when they dont have a clue hence the reason there are so many symptoms for it. I also tried lying on tennis ball and found i had all these sensitive parts of my hip muscles, feels better the next day altough at the start it didnt work a few weeks later it did. I spent all these months researchin and this gave me my life back. Best of luck....worth a try if nothing else.
Is there anyone who knows risk factors of getting prostatitis and how to get cured of prostatitis?
