Okay so for a while now I have been experiencing some discomfort when I try to burp. To help me burp, sometimes I push in my stomach to get it to come out. Sometimes I am successful.. I feel bloated after eating most of time. I sometimes wake up with the urge to burp. Recently after I eat at meal, I feel nauseated and the chills. Reading online, I have belief that it may be gastritis.. So for that I began taking omeprazole which sometimes seems to help.but I mean I'm only 18 why am I experiencing these things I exercise and eat moderately healthy … what should I do or take or eat or not eat??
Thanks for your time.

hi there

Have you seen a doctor, if so get your self checked out, my daughter was 22 when she had issues with bloating distended stomach, gassy, cramps and also had difficulty passing wind , she saw a nutritunist and they put her ona FOBMAP diet and it heled her she noted when she had milk it would make her bloat etc, she never was much of a milk drinker though, they tested her for coeliac dieses and t came out negative,

So they put her on colofax nexium 40 mg and buscoan for cramps and pain she also takes mintec tablets for bloating, and drinks peppermint tea, too she does not take the tablet everyday but on and off when she feels that she is bloated and cramping.  The last time she was also vomiting due to the pains above naval and below the chest area sometimes radiating to the back,

they did a gastroscopy said mild gastritis that was the reason for nexium, and also had a barium swallow done for a scanon abdomen, Try some dual action gaviscon 2 tablets and see if it helps before you have your meals at least 1/2 n hour before.  Go and get yur self check they said that my daughter could have IBS.

I hope you have found some answers if so keeps us informed, god Bless and good luck

I've been having similar issues for the past 4 months, my doctor got some blood and is doing some tests, but he's thinking it may be an inflammation somewhere in the body that caused issues in the stomach which can happen. He also said it could be an issue with dairy or gluten which will show similar symptoms. If nothing comes back on the tests and things don't get better, then he said to go to a GI and they might do an endoscopy. I have found acidic foods and drinks set it off and stress makes it much worse, but being stress-free is still not good.

If I find out more I'll try to remember to post an update, hope you get better.
