Hello all,
I am 19 and have had all those symptoms for years. I would constantly go to my doctor explaining to him all my problems and they turned me away saying I was a hypochondriac. I refused to let them get the best of me especially since things had gotten so bad that I had to quit dancing for the Royal Ballet in London and lost all hopes of becoming a prima ballerina. I researched for over three years and finally found what was called Gluten intolerance ( when the body cannot break down wheat or flour ) and Celiacs disease ( often miss diagnosed by doctors as thyroid problems, flu, mono, glucose intolerance etc ) Symptoms include: chronic fatigue, instant diarrhea after meals, stomach pain, nausea, chronic headaches and sinus pressure, irritability, dizziness, faintness, lack of appetite or over appetite, depression and more. I went to my doctor and forced them to test me. When the blood results came back they were positive for gluten intolerance, I couldn't believe it! I then had to have a gastro intestinoscapy, the results came back that I had Celiacs disease. This disease is very dangeous if not taken care of with diet.It is a hereditary disease and if not discovered or taken care of can create more life threatening diseases. I am in college and am eating right now and I feel a million times better! I don't know if this is what you all might have, but it is definitely worth looking into! Hope i could be of some help : )

Hi I am 24 years old and I just developed these symptoms very suddenly after a trip to Cancun, so I went to the hospital and got Antibiotics through IV and then stayed on oral Antibiotics for a week and got all better. But, now I have been home for about a month and have all these syptoms again for no reason! I love food and eat a lot but these days I just am so grossed out by the smell and just by looking at some of my favourite foods. I am very confused the doctors keep telling me it's a cold/flu but I know my body and something is not right. A flu would make me have a fever or sleep all day or very weak and sniffling/coughing but I have none of those symptoms, so now they are going to send me for a COLONOSCOPY, because they think that it might be "Irritable Bowel Disease" IBD either Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. So that may be something to look into for some of you, becasue I did my research and the main symptoms are Diarrhea, Severe Stomach Pains (often described as cramping high in the abdomen, Fever and Weight Loss (loss of appetite). I will also try getting an allergy test and a celiac's disease test.

If anyone can five me any imput that would be very much appreciated, and I hope this helps some. :-)

drmisra, i think your child sounds a lot like Ivan. he is a little boy i know, who now is waiting for a heart transplant. my heart went out to him for having to be ill at such a young age, and it goes out to you too. i've been having bad symptoms like these as well, and i'm not sure what to do because the doctors keep saying that i have a migraine, but i've had them before and i know what they feel like. i've been having bloody stool, dizziness, episodes of passing out, headaches, neck pins and stiffness, vomiting and nausea, back pain, bright lights hurt my eyes, and i feel really weak and out of energy. anyways, i wish good luck for everyone! ;-)

For the past month i have had severe stomach pain (only on fridays) and it gets to the point where i have passed out.
every day at school i am dizzy, in a fog, with a headache, or nauseas.
It is not my blood sugar, though i have hypoglecemia i check my sugar at school, i do not know what wrong. they says its cramps. Well, i have the stomach pain even when im off my period. And the dizziness and headaches have gotten worse. I am in so much pain. No matter how much i sleep, i am exhausted. I get home and by six i am tired. I feel like i will pass out. But i get about 9 hrs each night of sleep. Something is seriously wrong with me. My doctor suggested taking out dairy, but....idk...i can't really do that.

Could it be mono?
Vaso-vagal?
Lactose intolerance?

What could it be?

I really need answers here. I am suffering beyond what i thought what possible.

sounds like you have a concussion from hitting your head. not that big of a deal, just take it easy for a while. the symptoms your feeling is your brain telling you to relax while it recovers. take some pain relievers (tylenol) if it gets bad.

as for the other topics, I am experiencing the exact same symptoms (22, male) and am going to see a doctor tomorrow. we'll see how it goes.

Okay im 16 and have the same symptoms! im constantly tired now, in november last year i was feeling constantly nausious but no one believed how bad i felt until i went to the doctor, Not my usual doctor, who told me i had to much acid in my stomach, so i go on these pills that make me worse. I get more nausious constantly in bed, couldn't move one of the days and fainted a few times, coudn't & wouldn't eat.Lost 8lb in 3 days. Go back to the health centre to my regular doctor and he tells me i have a kidney infection. So i go on amoxicillan and after about 2 and a half weeks my nausia and cramps etc go away. But 2 weeks after i stopped my medication i go right back to the way i was feeling before, but it got worse. Constant nausia, feeling physically sick and not being able to actually throw up. Losing appetite, headaches, migraines (usually get them, got worse though) and now im starting to feel dizzy, and more tired as the days go on and i have also been getting dihorea lately too. Also abdominal pains, and cramps, and my periods have went awol. Sometimes i'm getting the feeling i don't have enough sugar in my body, and then i eat something sugary and i still feel as if im about to pass out. I'm starting to feel faint alot more now and im starting to get worried about my own health, but i don't think its down to stress. sometimes my headaches aren't the normal kind, they are like a horrible pain that freezes my whole head (obviousley not literally but its bloody well sore!) I'm just worried but don't want to bother people about it and have them listen to how i feel sick again or faint and then nothing happens.
I dont know what the hell is going on with me?! someone pleaseee suggest something!?

Hello, im 16 years old and ive had the same problem for months. I went to these special doctors in NYC and they told me that i havent been eating enough fiber and the food couldnt process through. It then caused a blockage which gave me these terrible symptoms. Now i have to eat alot more fiber and the doctor said it should go away within 6 months.

I'm 17 and i have also been feeling constantly sick, with headaches, and terrible headrushes. I feel drained all the time, and wake up feeling tired after a nights sleep. I've been to the doctors numerous times, had blood work and scans, and so far they just think it's chronic sinusitus. However, they are still looking at my last scan for a final conclusion. It is very common, and so some of your symptoms could be due to that. Also, they suggested some kind of food intolerance such as lactose or wheat gluten.

I found out, after complaining to doctors for years, that I have food allergies to milk, wheat, eggs, yeast, and pumpkin. Many of the symptoms you mention are similar to mine.

I have those symptomes frequently. I have Crohn's disease.
I hope it's not that, but you should ask your doctor about getting a barium test done - this would rule out Crohn's, Colitis, and and malformations in your intestines.

It also could be IBS, but I've never heard of weight loss coming from that.

There would be nothing wrong with your blood tests except for lack of nutrition, but this may not show itself for a while yet - IF it is Crohn's or Colitis.

I've been having the same symptoms and I am only 14. My parents are concerned that it might be diabetes. Everytime i eat or drink anything i have extreme bowel movements. I am urinating almost every hour if not more often. I am consistantly nauseous and extremely thirsty. I've been tested once but that was a while ago so i am going to be tested again. So good luck everyone. Hope all of you find out whats wrong and start getting proper treatment if needed. Feel better
