Every man has pre cum. Its a base (on a pH scale of 7.6) it neutralizes the acidic urethra (because urine is like 6.3 on the pH scale). Sometimes its stay in the penis sometimes it comes out. There is nothing you can do to stop it because it is involuntary. The volume of it is not affected by anything. Sometimes its a lot sometimes it isn't. Pre cum is most active when a guy is about to cum because pre cum (along with some other fluid) carry nutrients to help the sperm swim throughout the acidic environment of the vagina. PC muscles only stop sperm from coming out until the load gets to big to hold or the guy waits to late to stop it and the feeling of relaxation overwhelms him and he releases. Trust me i took this class all year I know this stuff

You're wrong. Not every man has it. I do not.

It's also never been an issue for me because I do not want children, and I do not need to use it as a lubricant.

You are incorrect. Every man has it, but it can be such a miniscule amount that one would never notice it. You can get women pregnant with it even if you "pull out in time." Even if you never see it, it's there, and "pulling out in time" is never a good strategy. Also, I must warn of the STD thing. Please see the harvard medical journals about that argument.

It is normal either way to have a noticeable amount or have next to none. Those with heavy precum are advised to see the doctor and make sure everything is working fine and you don't have any of the cancers/swollen/clamped organs. The above can lead to sterility or ruptures and permanent damage, but voluminous precum is usually harmless except in the accidental pregnancy clause.

So...
My fiance doesn't precum and and I have PCOS. Does that mean that we are both sterile? Or do we just have to try harder to have kids?

I have precum just about everytime before sex right at the beginning. Someone said about he never knows he gets it and about taste, well its ph 7.6.. water is ph 7 and has no taste.. Until i read this i thought precum was just the stuff ur sperm swims in and also a natural lubricant. i now know its a bit different to what i thought but not far off. Does pre cum bother me? no.. did i just wipe it on my gf... yes... did we laugh yes... lol enjoy sex :D

i've never had a precum, and i'm 34. When i say never, i mean it. Not even a drop of precum. I just cum and there's nothing oozing before that moment. It's kind of a weird question for me to ask my dad to see if this runs in the family or what...i'm kind of concerned about it though...any thoughts?

I'm a 61 yr. old w/m

I have a lot of pre cum and sometimes it's embarrassing when it shows through my pants. I sill wake up with an erection almost every day, and if I play with it just a little bit it starts dripping.

When a doctor examines me it starts dripping. I think it's normal. However when I masturbate it can become sticky so I wipe it off so I can rub myself smoothly. My dry hand and dry penis creates a nice sensation.

All in all, maybe that mean's I have high testosterone. That's my guess.

I have plenty of precum (seminal fluid), girls usually love to taste it and touch it with their tongue and it also lubricates the tip of the penis for entry into those tight little spots we all love so much. It is the carrier for the sperm and produced by the cowpers gland, alot of the variation as far as amount produced and volume is simply genetic but any man who has ejaculated before and is not sterile had sperm that was being carried in the clear seminal fluid (semen). This is what makes up "cum" as we know it, the precum is simply the production of clear empty seminal fluid prior to the release of the sperm into it during ejaculation. Girls, it is also very good for you and alkaline so drink up! Does a body good, so please don't waste it. :)

here is a little test to figure out if you have precum during sex and approximately how much. When half way to 3/4 the way through sex just before or right when you start to feel the urge to cum (not when you cant hold it anymore) pull out. This is when your body releases the most precum. Put your hand on poco like you would to masturbate but apply a little more pressure, slowly go up, and only go up (dont stoke back down) and hold. this may need to be repeated 3 or 4 times, each time by releasing poco, then replacing your hand at mid shaft and repeating. If done correctly, this should give you a good idea of how much (if any) precum you produce during sex.

That is a lie. Not ALL men have precum. There has been multiple study's with different men and half of them had no precum. Google it
