Every time when I’m due to my period I get food cravings. I know that it happens to most of women. What confuses me is that I crave food that I usually don’t eat and don’t like to eat. I usually eat milk products, fruit, vegetables and cereals but during theses days I crave for red meat and starchy food. Do you have answer to this??

May be it is because our bodies get colder before and during periods. We lose blood and red meat is rich in iron. That’s the signal that your body gives to you. Maybe you should add iron supplements to your diet to prevent anemia. Hope that this was kind of acceptable answer.
