it will stop your growth so better dont do it
I'm 13 and lift weights as well. To be honest the answer to your question is yes and no, if that makes sense. It will give you tone in your muscles but will not make then much bigger. I was lifting small weights big reps until I did an assignment about it. Now I'm 13.5 and lifting 40kg ever second day and 10 every other day. But if you are going to do what I do then gradually work up to the heavy weights.
I hoped this helped
this will stunt your growth so i would advice you not to do weights do more cardio
you stink at water canoeing
Hi I'm 13 years old I left 20 pounds in each arm. So does it matter how much you left? Like because I will probably be going up to 35 pounds that is my goal by the time football season is done will this stint my growth?
Its perfectly fine for him to lift weights the only thing that I would watch out for is heavy overhead lifts this could ( could as in how Earth could end) stunt your growth. I am 14 and I curl 30lbs weights each arm with a 80lb barbell curl my biceps are 10" almost. My life hasnt been ruined nor have I died and thats because it is perfectly fine to lift weighs as long as you have the right fom
No, it won't stunt your growth. I started lifting weights at age 11, and I was only 4.8. But now for me at 13, I'm 5.3 1/2 and Ive done it for nearly 2 years, and nothing wrong with that. It's just a myth, with no proven evidence, like that coffee will stunt your growth myth, However, not properly doing weight lifting can leave a lot of damage to your bones and muscles. just go slow and calm, and don't lift to much your body struggles with. Malnutrition, Diseases, and Not a healthy diet, are often the factors of Stunted Growth.
I'm thirteen I have a 7,5kg use it a lot is this bad
Hi Roanldo
I'm 13years old and I been lifting weights for the past 2months
I feel great!I just finished a PR for my deadlifts 245pounds off the ground!
My advice to all of you guys is to not drink any supplements!
Drink a lot of water!
Water makes you stronger and healthier!
To all the kids that are training keep up the good work!
Stay out of negative people:)
Always try your BEST!

Meh, i think its ok. Im your age and I lift around 3.6kg (8 pounds) dumbells with 440 lifts per arm each day, along with around 50 chest expander exercises (im 55kgs and 5 feet 7 though). I've been doing this every day for about 3-4 months, and im still growing normally.
The only problem is ypu should be lifting more heavier and longer and all parts of your body except legs
and if you're a girl?
I am 13 years old and I lift 10kg and I can feel that my left chest bone isnt growing properly
