Hey there. Not necessarily. I believe that there is no reason for every cat to cough up hairballs. I had a cat for seven years, I had her since she was a kitten and I didn’t have any problems with it. Actually, I never heard that one cat can cough hairballs before. I found out this information three months ago when I bought Persian cat for me. Some people told me that I should be very careful about this and that I should pay attention. So, don’t worry. There is no rule that every cat has to coughing up hairballs.
It is not alarming and you can treat them with foods :)

Hey everyone.

Don’t worry, this is common problem in cats. A lot of cats suffer from this and this is normal. In the normal case, there is no need to be worried because this is a way that cat keeps herself clean by licking her fur.

But even if this is not that dangerous it doesn’t mean that you don’t need to treat it. Because you do!

For example, I would do this. I would give my cat some little pieces of the fruits and vegetables daily. You should give her apples, carrots, potatoes, etc. They are great source of health and great natural fiber that is going to help to remove hairballs from your cat’s system.

Hello. I know a lot of cat owners who have problems with it. A lot of cats coughing up hairballs. It can be treated at two different ways. First, you can treat it by adding fiber to the cat’s diet program. Also, you can give your cat lubricant to slide the hair trough to the correct end of the cat for disposal. There is another option. It is homeopathy. I can recommend you a couple of good remedies for hairballs in your cat. I use Nux Vomica. A proper dose will help the cat to expel the hairballs. Good luck.

Hello everyone.

I won’t repeat what other people told you. It doesn’t have to happen to every cat but it can happen because it is very often.

You can try to treat it with home remedies or with medications. It depends on what you want.

You can do this.

Once a week add half of teaspoon petroleum jelly into your cat’s paw. Also you can add a teaspoon of butter or olive oil to your cat’s food once or twice a week.

Pumpkin is also a great idea and it is very effective. You can always use it as a remedy.

In cats hairballs are regular occurrence and very usually there is no trouble except some discomfort. The main problem is that hairballs cannot be digested and can accumulates in stomach. Bowel movements will change. My cat is throwing up hairballs very often, at least once a month. I can’t do nothing to prevent it. I don’t treat it always at the same way. I use so many methods, from natural remedies to medications. Good luck with it. I know how annoying this can be.

Hello everyone.

I don’t think so. Cats who are throwing or coughing up hairballs is a result of swallowing too much hair during her natural licking and during grooming process. That means that this can happen to every cat, but it doesn’t have to happen. But anyway, because of this hairballs are common in the most meticulous of felines. Especially the big hairballs.

When clumps of cat’s hair build up within your pet’s belly they typically come out once he throw up them. Remember that stomach cannot digest fur and it needs to be cured.

It usually happens to cats with a long hair.
