I can't believe this came from someone who is a moderator. This is totally false. Anal sex does not cause hemorrhoids or lack of bowel control unless there is a lot of pain or extreme play (ie. fisting) involved.
I have discussed this with three doctors (one a proctologist) who all were of the opinion anal sex was perfectly healthy. The ability to control your sphincter muscles would lessen the likelihood of hemorrhoids.
Furthermore, my wife and I have been having anal sex about five times a week for the past 14 years and have had not problems as a result.
How come no one never asks, "I have really big bowel movements. Will I loose control of bowels later?" Please...

I never said it causes hemorrhoids, and I never said anything about lack of bowel control, all I said was that its not too good for the skin around your anus.
So do you think pooping every day is any different than having a well lubricated penis in an anus?

We use wet brand lubes and I'm no tiny tim. If you try it dry I can see lots of problems, with lube there are not the same risks so long as one is not forcing things.
As for being good for you, oh yes, anal sex is wonderful in so many ways when done right, when done wrong its horrid.

from what I've heard that's technically true, but too much would be on the order of gangbangs. it's like stretching any other muscle, the only time you lose the ability to tighten it is if you don't for way too long. so if you leave a large butt plug in for like 12 hrs a day, after 10 years you might have issues. if you're having backdoor sex for 10 hrs a day, ditto. but even if you have it two or three times a day every day, that's maybe 2 hours and you have the rest of the day to recover. on the other hand, if you have regular sex for 10 hrs a day you'll have problems too.
Sex in all forms is healthy. As long as one is gentle when having anal sex, as the tissue within the arse are sensitive. Then no problems are done. Unless you do as Bellhop said.

Wrong! Incorrect information! I used to have no bowel problems until I started anally pleasuring myself. I never used anything bigger than a penis and it never hurt, but yet I somehow managed to develop a huge medical bowel problem. My bowels literally started falling out of my anus in a condition known as Internal Hemorrhoids. Now just how do you explain that to me dear liar? The problem resulted after doing it enough.
