NO! Get advice from a DOCTOR! Ask yourself, "who knows more about the human body?" Most PE teachers are clowns. It use to be baseball players didn't weight train because it would adversely affect your flexibility, we now know that's false. It use to be weight training was bad for young and old because it compressed the bones and stunted growth, we now know that weight bearing exercise is esssential in combating osteoporosis.

Nope, if anything, lifting at a young age releases growth hormones and helps growth. In the other hand it depends, could harm you other ways. If you are doing squats significantly compressing your spine shouldn't be more than 2 minutes, which, if you squat twice, maybe three times a week isn't nearly enough to matter.

But everyone is different, some people that weight lift don't grow because when they do exercises like that, there body uses all the energy they have and then it starts taking away nutrients from your body. Then once all the nutrients in your body are gone, that's when your body takes away your fats and that's how you lose weight.
