You should only start out with light workouts and progress slowly up, and when you think your about almost the same height as your father or whoever is the tallest in your family. Just remember don't work out were at the point your body aches so much.

No. It won't make u stop growing. When i started working out my friends also told me that. I did some research and i'm sure that working out/wheight lifting won't make u short or stop ur growth. It's just a roumour.
