i am 19 and i have had yellow eyes all my life and have no kind of health problems. what could cause that?
I dont believe hepatitis is always the case with the yellowing of the eye. And I'm sure there are more reasons to that case cause my grandfather had the same condition (yellowing of the eye, no symptoms of any sickness and felt fine till one day). They found out that he had pancreatic cancer. so i suggest you get that checked as well just rule that out... For my grandfather it was already too late cause the cancer had spread over the years without any symptoms but he did have yellowing in the eyes for quiet some time.
hiya ive just had the same symptoms yellowing of the eyes but generally feeling fine, ive had a blood test and been diagnosed with gilberts syndrome which 10 percent of the population have.

most hosiptals will do a needle stick protocol when you are stuck by a hospital patient if this was done then they would have been able to tell her if she contracted Hep C the patient is usually checked in this protocol for their safety as well.

I dont think you should and go see the doctor.dont worry he is fine.i have something like that too my eyes turn bright yellow when my heart beats fast,im 13 and i dont have liver problems.i never see the doctor cuz im scared that he will do something i need help please.my parents dont know about this.

Thank you, my son has yellowing of his eyes, as a nurse I freaked! Cholesterol and Gilbertts also, so yes it isn't always something horriable! But yes I clearly understand why we feel that way! Especially my boy! Thought I would have a melt down, had him tested for hepatitis c and the entire alphabet. Thank You
Are you crazy?? Why would you not see a doctor immediately??? This could be so serious!! I'd go to th ER because they'll probably admit you immediately!!
Does your hubby drink? My sons eyes were yellow he didn't appear sick although he did drink a lot.wouldn't go to doctor.started sleeping lot couldn't est throwing up got weak two weeks from when we noticed yellow he was in ER. Admitted put on life support three weeks later he passed IT is a warning may already be late but don't do what my son did thinking it would go away. It may have Been to late for my son even if he did see doctored will never know.
