if you have ulcers in ur colon they can do a colonoscopy. I had one of those. they have a bad prep for it but it is worth it if you find the problem. I had inflammation in my intestines. Have you been checked for crohns, or ulcertive colitis. Both have simalar issues with it sounds like it is worth checking for both of you. also an upper GI endoscopy. It will check for gastric ulcers and hernias and other things that might cause some of your issues. I had my colonscopy and upper GI done at the same time. If they have not done these test I would request them
Good luck to anyone who has these isssues. I know they can be aweful. I feel for you. Let me know if you get anywhere with it
i know how you feel i am crying out for help and the doctors just brush us off. a person knows when something is wrong with them and doctors should take us seriously. I have had an endoscopy but it came back normal, celiac came back normal and h pylori came back normal. there are so many more tests that can be done but a doctor needs to send us for them. im sorry that you are having a bad time and i hope that they find out the cause, please post if you have any luck. i will post on here if they find my problem. i too am finding it hard to look after my children and i cry most days as i feel so bad, my children are 2, 3 and 6 they cant see their mum happy anymore as im always feeling bad. i just sometimes feel like giving up but i know thats a silly idea but thats how i feel some days. like no doctor is listening to me. good luck.
thank you mammacarter for replying too, i have had an endoscopy it was clear, my doctor just asks me why am i concerned but i couldnt believe she said that, i feel like this everyday and i cant eat or drink much and they ask me why am i concerned. losing 16kg in less than three months should have a doctor concerned. i will go back to the doctors on monday and tell them to send me for some tests.
