Any update I have the same thing
Splenic flexure of the colon is on the Left side..thought this was abour the right side which would be the hepatic flexure wouldn't it?
It is 2016...no one posts answers. I need answers.

I just got on to look for this problem. I have had it for several years when I bend over. You explained it perfectly, I thought maybe it is a hianal hernia but it doesn't look like it. Have you figured it out yet?
I would not get my gall bladder taken out for this! I had to have emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder when I was 23, I am 42 now, and I just started having this same feeling you are all describing 4 days ago. The only thing different with me is I just started taking milk of magnesia a week ago. Just thought I would see if anyone else was taking that when symtpoms started

I have the same exact pain. What was said?what did you do. I'm still in pain. Not only that pain I got lower abdomen pain like hernia
You describe what I have perfectly! I feel its like a hernia the way it spasms and get hard and ball shaped. I thought maybe my liver gets caught under the last rib on the right side. I do have a fatty liver and am obese. It went away for a long time and when I put on 30 lbs it has started again. It acts up if I bend over, lean forward, and sometimes just sitting up in a chair. It can get painful as it happens so often every day. Has anyone ever had it explained by a doctor yet as to what is happening?
What did your doctor say?
I also have a lump that pops out under my right rib cage not painful but uncomfortable until I wriggle and to goes back where it belongs until it happens again. Maybe due to heavy lifting?? Seems unwarranted to go to the doc.

Did you ever get an answer? My symptoms are identical to yours. I'm thinking Gallbladder.
Did you find out what it was? I've had the same exact symptoms for almost a year. No surgeries though.
