I hope everyone is feeling better. I am experiencing the same feeling in my lower chest like the pill I take is a chemotherapy drug Temador. I drink plenty of water, but a couple of hours later the "stuck pill" feeling comes on. I have tried warm water which helps some to dissolve the remaining gelatin part of the pill, which I think doesn't dissolve, but it wakes me up at night and the pain is horrible.
I haven't informed my doctor yet, but I plan to speak to him this week. It could well be acid reflux, but my esophagus could very well be irritated from the surgery I had 6 weeks ago, this is when the "stuck pill" feeling started after I got home. So drinking a lot of water with my pills has NOT seemed to stop this feeling to come back. Please help!!!!

I feel like someones fishing in my stomach! Literally a long thin wire pushed all the way down my throat into my lower abdomen. I can also feel as though someone is trying to hook something in my stomach. Very painful. What would be the cause of this?
I had a total hysterectomy with the da Vinci system. I know they went through my belly button. Could that cause a hiatal hernia? I recently feel like I have a pill stuck in my esophagus.
